2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marlon Mattias! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wall shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mattias as he jumps to the side. Wall fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mattias. Mattias throws a series of strikes that have Wall backpedaling.
A shot to de liver by Wall. Beautiful body shot. Wall tries to close the distance and clinch but Mattias swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wall shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mattias pinned against the cage. Mattias gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mattias throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wall closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mattias is trying to get back to full guard. Wall trying to advance position but Mattias counters by regaining guard. Wall trying to control but Mattias is working from the bottom. Mattias looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wall is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mattias is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Wall could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mattias utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wall tries to free his leg and advance position but Mattias is retaining full guard. Wall stands and throws Mattias's legs to the side, diving into side control. Mattias is not content to let Wall control the position. Mattias manages to get back to half guard. Wall is looking to advance position but Mattias won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Mattias is not content to let Wall control the position. Wall stalling away here and it's allowed Mattias to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Wall stopping the sweep attempt from Mattias. Wall trying to control the position from guard on top but Mattias is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mattias has a closed guard, preventing Wall from standing up. Wall is breathing heavily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mattias scores with a takedown into Wall's guard.

Mattias lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Mattias slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Wall trying to keep a closed guard but Mattias is proving a slippery customer.

Let's hope that Mattias has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wall tries to bench press Mattias off him but Mattias keeps the position. Wall takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Wall seems a little lost for a moment, as Mattias dominates the positioning. Wall is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Mattias's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Mattias content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Mattias takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mattias prevents Wall from getting the reversal. Balls Wall has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mattias controlling the pace for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Marlon Mattias comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mattias has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Libris controlling his opponent.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cesc Fabregas! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fabregas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gwacie's guard. Fabregas wants to control from the top but Gwacie keeps moving. Gwacie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gwacie working for a triangle but Fabregas defends it easily.

Gwacie can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gwacie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fabregas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fabregas avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
