1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, roy shaw! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A leg kick checked by shaw. shaw gets a takedown into half guard. shaw is trying to work for a kimura but Garden is defending well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Garden is trying to maintain the position but shaw is very close to passing his half guard. shaw works his way into full mount! Garden is squirming around, avoiding shaw's attempts to control the action. shaw lands a heavy elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. shaw swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Garden is now in shaw's guard. A big mistake from shaw there, giving up the dominant position! shaw looking to hit a scissor sweep but Garden is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. shaw manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
shaw looking to secure an arm triangle but Garden defends it well. shaw can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Garden is looking to escape. Garden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for shaw on the ground.

shaw jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Garden manages to avoid the submission attempt. shaw looks gassed! shaw is looking to take a break and control but Garden is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. shaw wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Garden, who protects the arm well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Garden has other ideas though and has regained full guard. shaw wants to pass the guard but Garden is keeping the position. Garden pulls shaw in close to his closed guard and prevents shaw from doing any damage or advancing position. shaw drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Garden dives on top into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. shaw has a closed guard, preventing Garden from standing up. shaw tries to land a sweep but no joy. shaw is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Garden manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Garden stopping the sweep attempt from shaw. Geisha Garden is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Garden throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like roy shaw has been cut. Garden moves into the clinch successfully.
shaw goes for a takedown attempt but Garden pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

shaw shoots in and drives through. Garden sprawls well. shaw closes the distance and clinches up with Garden, looking for a takedown. shaw pushes Garden against the cage but Garden circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Garden looks to score with a jab to the body but shaw is just out of range. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Garden checks a leg kick. shaw shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Garden pinned against the cage. Garden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Garden throws a combination but it was largely blocked by shaw. Garden misses with the combination.
Garden throws a right and a left that both miss. shaw shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Garden as he avoids it easily. shaw on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Garden. Garden obviously looking to wear him down.
Geisha Garden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Garden pulls out of a head kick attempt.
shaw drives through with a takedown into guard. shaw works a leg free and moves into half guard. shaw looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Garden controlling the position for now. Garden is refusing to be controlled, as shaw sits in half guard. shaw wants to work for an arm triangle but Garden is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Garden pushes shaw off looking to stand but shaw dives back in and keeps control.

Garden throws a right and a left that shaw avoids nicely. shaw closes the distance and clinches up with Garden, looking for a takedown. shaw pushes Garden against the cage but Garden circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. shaw has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Horrible takedown by shaw or perhaps it was just good defense by Garden which made him look bad. shaw shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Garden but Garden pushes him off and we're back to square one. shaw shoots in for a takedown and gets it. shaw is looking to take a break and control but Garden is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. shaw is looking for a kimura here.

No, Garden has escaped the position, nice work there. shaw is trying to move to mount but Garden reverses beautifully and ends up in shaw's guard. shaw throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Amazing's guard. Amazing controls Brown momentarily but Brown frees himself. Amazing working for a triangle but Brown defends it easily.

Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Amazing is retaining full guard. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Amazing is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Amazing avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Brown looks to land a body kick but Amazing moved away. Amazing tries to clinch up and Brown counters with a shoot takedown. Amazing fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown looking to pass the guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Amazing is on top in guard.
Amazing pushes down on Brown's leg and manages to get into half guard. Brown controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Brown is looking to improve his position.

Brown wants to sweep here but Amazing controlling him for the moment. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brown is on top in guard.
Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amazing swivels though and keeps the full guard. Brown postures up.
Amazing throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Amazing works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Amazing pulls Brown in close to prevent any damage. Amazing had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brown is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Amazing Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brown's back instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Even with his hooks in, Amazing manages to miss with strikes from the back. Amazing lands shots from the back. Amazing lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Amazing trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Amazing lands strikes to the head. Brown is trying to get back to his feet but Amazing has full control of the position and if anything, Brown has just worked his way into a worse spot. Brown prevents Amazing from getting a body triangle. Amazing throwing sloppy strikes. Brown looking very determined here, making life difficult for Amazing.

Amazing is rocked! Brown with the ground and pound from mount. Oh Amazing is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Brown lands with some strikes. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brown cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Brown quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Brown but it's paid off an Amazing is forced to tap! Nice work by Brown.

J slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. J might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. J pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bruce is keeping the position for now.

Bruce closes this distance looking for a takedown but J circles away. Bruce fails with the takedown letting J counter with a right hand. A left and a right from J both land. Nice combination. A nice leg kick lands there from J. J tries to keep at a distance but Bruce has taken the fight into the clinch. Bruce prevents the takedown attempt.
J is looking to break free of the clinch but Bruce has double underhooks. J is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bruce is just too persistent for him and manages to trip J to the mat. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting J here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
