Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yrjo Pierre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tommy Jones! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Pierre looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jones misses with a takedown attempt - Pierre sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Yrjo Pierre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pierre moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones keeps the fight on the outside. Pierre shoots and misses and Jones counters with an inside leg kick. Pierre misses with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jones missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Pierre might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jones is looking to stand up but Pierre isn't so interested in that idea.

Jones loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Pierre looking for a sweep. Not yet Pierre, not yet. Pierre looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jones puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Jones wants to control but Pierre is keeping him busy. Jones seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Pierre tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jones trying to land knees to the body.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pierre's guard. Jones wants to stand and escape but instead Pierre has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Pierre pushing down on Jones's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Pierre gets to his feet - back to striking we go! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pierre! Yrjo Pierre has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones lands a heavy elbow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Love throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Love swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A punch combination from Albright misses. Albright tries to clinch but Love moves out of range. Love tries to clinch up but Albright circles away and keeps his distance. Love has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Albright tries to bum rush Love with a series of wild strikes but Love uses good footwork to avoid the assault. No luck for Albright with that takedown attempt. No joy there for Albright, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenobi shoots in but no luck this time. Kenobi feints and as Kiwalski raises his hands in defense, Kenobi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kiwalski throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Kenobi Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kiwalski's back instead. Kenobi is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kiwalski is defending well though. Kenobi let's go of the attempt for now. Kiwalski turns into Kenobi and is now in his guard.
