The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McClure lands with a kick to the temple. Daniels shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Daniels avoids the head kick by McClure.
Daniels should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Good work by McClure as he checks the leg kick. McClure lands with a slapping head kick. Daniels blocks a head kick by McClure.
McClure misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McClure shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Daniels's guard. McClure being controlled here momentarily. Daniels working for a triangle but McClure defends it easily.
McClure knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Daniels on the ground. McClure postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ninja closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jew Jitsu circles away. Ninja misses with a takedown attempt - Jew Jitsu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ninja decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Jew Jitsu controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Ninja wants to stand up but Jew Jitsu has a hold of him and won't allow it. Jew Jitsu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ninja is working away from the top position though. Jew Jitsu is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ninja's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ninja's back! Jew Jitsu throwing damaging strikes from the back! Ninja could be in trouble here!

Simpson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Simpson struggling a bit here. Simpson tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Son controls the position. Dingle Berry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Berry shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salcedo as he jumps to the side. Berry scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Salcedo trying to control but Berry postures up.

Berry throws a right hand that Salcedo ducks under and follows up with a left that Salcedo also avoids with ease. Berry throws a sloppy head kick and Salcedo moves out of range easily. Salcedo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Berry shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Salcedo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Salcedo. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dingle Berry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Berry is breathing heavily. Salcedo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Salcedo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Salcedo with a lazy takedown attempt and Berry counters with a lovely shot to the body. Berry misses with a double jab.
Berry keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Salcedo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Berry counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Berry. Salcedo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Berry pulls him back up using the underhooks. Salcedo jumps into guard, dragging Berry to the mat.
Berry tries to free his leg and advance position but Salcedo is retaining full guard. Salcedo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Salcedo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Berry is doing well to control the position and prevent Salcedo from advancing to side control. I think Burnside might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Clipse - Money. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chiddell thows a left - swing and a miss! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Botwin!

Chiddell throws a left that rocks Botwin and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Chiddell dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Botwin regain composure!

It looks like D Botwin has been cut. Botwin can't do much from the bottom here. Botwin is still on wobbly legs! Can Chiddell finish him? Botwin tries to improve position but can't. Botwin regains half guard. Botwin seems to have recovered his senses. Chiddell is taking a breather. Botwin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Botwin is positioning himself well to prevent Chiddell advancing to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chiddell tries to stand but can't do so whilst Botwin controls his leg. Chiddell is thwarting Botwin's attempts to control the position. Botwin wants to improve his position but Chiddell is controlling well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Botwin slips under a jab from Chiddell. Botwin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chiddell throws out the jab. Chiddell throws a head kick that misses. Botwin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Luck Chiddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chiddell misses the jab. Chiddell misses with an uppercut. Chiddell throws a jab when Botwin was well out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Botwin lands with an overhand left. Botwin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Chiddell cracks Botwin with an open hand slap. Botwin's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Botwin duly obliges. Chiddell misses with a straight left. Botwin tries to bum rush Chiddell with a series of wild strikes but Chiddell uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nice takedown defense from Botwin. No joy for Chiddell on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luck Chiddell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Left hook, right uppercut from Botwin. Chiddell throws a shot from downtown. Botwin moves away and avoids it. Chiddell throws an off balance right hand
and Botwin counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Chiddell breaks from the clinch.
Chiddell lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Botwin falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
