Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leo Bueno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Torrence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bueno comes into the arena with Smooth Criminal blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ryan Torrence was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Lyoton wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Penna has him pressed against the cage.
Lyoton wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Penna breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Penna shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lyoton as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Lyoton counters with a nice low kick that buckles Penna's knee momentarily.

Penna on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Penna shoots for a takedown but Lyoton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Machidan Lyoton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Penna.

Veechi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fernandez's guard.
Veechi could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Veechi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fernandez manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Veechi has Fernandez in his guard.
Fernandez thows a big elbow that misses.
Veechi trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Veechi pulls Fernandez in close to prevent any damage.
Veechi looking for a guillotine here but Fernandez defends easily.
