The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ghandi shoots in and bounces Holiday off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ghandi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Holiday working for a triangle but Ghandi defends it easily.

Both fighters are looking very determined. Holiday is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. Holiday manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Ghandi is now in side control. Ghandi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Holiday keeps working. Holiday stops Ghandi from passing to mount.

Ghandi decides to take the fight back to the feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ghandi. A big left from Holiday misses. Holiday throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matt Ghandi. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ghandi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Domingues chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Floyd can pounce on him.
Floyd scores with a one two! Domingues had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. The fight stays on the outside here - Domingues looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Domingues changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Floyd tries to avoid it but Domingues manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Floyd to the ground. Floyd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Floyd throws a head kick but Domingues moves out of range.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rios. Silva lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Silva scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Rios is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Silva thuds his right hand into Rios's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. A head kick by Rios - that's a beauty! Silva is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Rios can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
