Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Jess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Butter Ball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hugh Jess! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Butter Ball! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jess shoots in and bounces Ball off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ball is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ball keeping moving, preventing Jess from controlling successfully. Ball utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ball looking for a sweep. Not yet Ball, not yet. Jess trying to control the position from guard on top but Ball is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jess thows a big elbow that misses. Jess is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Ball is working an open guard so Jess takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Jess steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ball. Jess lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jess shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jess was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Ball is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ball is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Jess could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jess looking to secure an arm triangle but Ball defends it well.

Ball tries to lock up and control but Jess gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Ball really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jess. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ball is squirming around, avoiding Jess's attempts to control the action. Ball is desperately trying to improve his position but Jess has a good base and remains in mount. Ball in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Ball takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hugh Jess dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jess, right into the meat.
Jess closes the distance and clinches up with Ball, looking for a takedown. Jess pushes Ball against the cage but Ball circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jess moves out of range as Ball strikes. Jess shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ball but Ball pushes him off and we're back to square one. Horrible takedown by Jess or perhaps it was just good defense by Ball which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugh Jess. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crack! Ball connects with the perfect overhand right and Jess falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Ball!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dent tries to clinch but Washington is having none of it. Dent fails in his attempt to clinch. Washington lands with a nice combination. Dent backs away looking to recover. Washington lands with a nice combination. Dent backs away looking to recover. Washington lands a jab-cross combination.
Dent is rocked! Washington throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dent's waist but Dent gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Washington off to one side. Dent rushes Washington and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Dent tries to stall but Washington uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

It looks like Bobby Washington has been cut. Dent comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Dent is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Washington is keeping busy. Dent connects with a nasty looking knee right to Washington's face.
Washington lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Dent goes for a takedown in the clinch but Washington prevents it.

Dent is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Dent content to control rather than advance. Dent is looking to advance position but Washington won't allow it. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dent takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Washington tries to roll over but Dent keeps him under control. Dent wants to take a breather but Washington is having none of it. Washington tries to get to full guard but Dent has control of the leg.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dent wants to clinch and Dent takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dent tries to clinch and Washington counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dent makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dent. Dent manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Washington manages to get himself to full guard.

Harvey Dent is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Washington throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dent stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Washington scores with a hook. Washington closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dent tries to pull guard but Washington holds him up against the cage and eventually Dent drops back down to his feet.

Washington is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Washington is looking for a triangle but Dent pushes his legs off easily.
Dent makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Dent won't allow Washington to sweep him here. Washington escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dent gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dent tries to stand but Washington is controlling from the bottom.

Lake manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lake misses with a two punch combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lake bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Lake throws a right and a left that Brown avoids nicely. Lake keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Lake lands a jab to the nose. Lake lands with a cross. Brown sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Good leg kick by Lake there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown wants to stand up but Lake is controlling him. Brown is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Lake looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brown is one step ahead there. Lake is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Lake is breathing heavily. Brown manages to escape and get back to his feet! Brown looks to clinch and Lake cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lake stuffs the takedown attempt from Brown. Brown gets slowly back to his feet. Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

He's simply no match for Lake on the ground. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lake cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller wants to clinch up but Burns keeps it at a distance. Nice sprawl there from Miller as Burns shoots in. Burns throws out a leg kick but Miller moves out of range and Burns only half commits. Miller has managed to clinch.

Tootie is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ramirez pulls down on the head and he's put Tootie to sleep! This one is all over!
