The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koc misses with a looping right. Boomhauer feints and as Koc raises his hands in defense, Boomhauer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Boomhauer postures up in Koc's guard and throws a big left but Koc blocks it. Koc throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Boomhauer trying to control but Koc is working from the bottom. Boomhauer pushes down on Koc's leg and manages to get into half guard. Koc tries to roll over but Boomhauer keeps him under control. Koc is defending against the submission attempts here by Boomhauer.

Koc looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boomhauer drops back looking for a leg! Koc is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Koc manages to kick Boomhauer off! Boomhauer jumps back into Koc's guard. Boomhauer trying to control but Koc is working from the bottom. Boomhauer works a leg free and moves into half guard. Koc is trying to get back to full guard. Jeff Boomhauer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Koc is controlling Boomhauer's trapped leg to prevent Boomhauer from advancing to side control. Boomhauer is looking for a kimura but Koc is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Boomhauer to get the leverage. Boomhauer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Koc doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Boomhauer. Koc misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Boomhauer misses with a takedown attempt - Koc sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A head kick misses from Koc. Koc looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Koc misses with a jab, cross combination.
Koc throws a right and a left that Boomhauer avoids nicely. Some wild striking there from Koc.
Boomhauer shoots for a takedown but Koc saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Boomhauer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Koc throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Boomhauer's head. Boomhauer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Boomhauer has an Americana. Koc didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Boomhauer is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Boomhauer hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cong throws a right hand that Hagrid ducks under and follows up with a left that Hagrid also avoids with ease. Hagrid looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! A right-left combo lands from Hagrid. Hagrid rushes Cong and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Hagrid fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hagrid manages to break the clinch.
Hagrid gets caught flat footed, as Cong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hagrid wants to improve his position but instead Cong has moved into half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fabrazio throws a head kick that misses. Fabrazio shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A combination from Fabrazio does no damage. Benton tries for a takedown but Fabrazio circles away easily and Fabrazio counters into the clinch. Nicely done. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Benton wants to break free but Fabrazio has control.

Benton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fabrazio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Benton keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Fabrazio's head. Benton is in close to Fabrazio's body, working some short punches and elbows. Benton stands up over Fabrazio, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Benton lands a couple of elbows. Fabrazio working for a triangle but Benton defends it easily.
Benton cracks Fabrazio with a solid left hand. Fabrazio will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. He's left an arm up in the air though and Fabrazio has latched onto it... Big trouble! Fabrazio pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Benton is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Fabrazio!

Dent lands a nice shot to the head. The referee warns Murakami that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Dent is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Murakami has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murakami is desperately trying to improve his position but Dent has a good base and remains in mount. BOOM! Dent connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Dent has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Murakami's face.

Nice sprawl there from Murakami as Dent shoots in. Murakami shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Murakami can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dent is looking to escape. Murakami looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Murakami raining down shots from the mount! Murakami looking to control but Dent is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Murakami might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dent kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Murakami is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Dent is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Murakami's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Murakami's back! Murakami wants to control his opponent's hands but Dent gets his hands free. Dent is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Murakami with him. Murakami is trying to defend but Dent has an arm under the chin now! Murakami grimaces and is forced to tap out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steven throws a sloppy head kick and Suarez moves out of range easily. Steven just misses with a punch to the body.
Steven misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice body punch from Steven. Steven feints and then cracks Suarez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Suarez down. A head kick misses from Steven. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Steven, right into the meat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suarez takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Suarez looks gassed! Steven throws a head kick that Suarez semi-blocks.
Suarez is rocked! Steven throws a sloppy head kick and Suarez moves out of range easily. Steven lands a big shot that drops Suarez! Can he finish him?
Suarez is still in real trouble! Can Steven finish him? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Steven decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Suarez seems to have recovered his senses. Steven throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Suarez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Steven is fending him off so far but Suarez persists. Nope, Steven circles away and we're back to standing. Suarez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Steven throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Suarez crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
