Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between tyrone johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristian Wido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wido has chosen UFC as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, tyrone johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cristian Wido! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wido shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with johnson but johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wido shoots for a takedown but johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Wido tries to close the distance and clinch but johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. johnson shoots in but no luck this time. johnson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Wido counters with a nice double leg into side control. johnson won't be happy with that. Wido throws a strike aimed at the side of johnson's head but johnson avoids it well. Wido goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, johnson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Wido but great work by johnson. You can see the frustration on Wido's face as johnson controls the position. Wido is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked johnson off and has taken his back! johnson needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation. Wido is controlling the position but johnson somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

johnson is breathing heavily. Wido trying to control from johnson's half guard. johnson has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Wido in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! johnson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Wido looking to hit a scissor sweep but johnson is one step ahead there. johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. johnson looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wido is just riding it out for now. johnson eventually gives up the hold. johnson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

A close round but Cristian Wido will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wido slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wido working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Wido in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. johnson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Wido's best efforts. johnson kicks off Wido and gets to his feet. Wido with a poor takedown so johnson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wido keeping moving, preventing johnson from controlling successfully. Wido looking to sweep here. No luck so far. johnson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. tyrone johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. johnson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Wido is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst johnson is controlling him. johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wido is working an open guard so johnson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Wido doesn't succeed with the takedown and johnson counters with a single leg into guard. Wido didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. johnson gets to his feet - Wido follows without any prompting. johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wido tries for a takedown but johnson circles away easily and johnson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wido throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

Wido has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. johnson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wido tries to clinch but johnson moves away and johnson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by johnson. johnson is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. johnson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. johnson advances to full mount. johnson controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. johnson with shots to the head and body - Wido looks very uncomfortable down there. johnson working the ground and pound effectively.
johnson looking to control and managing it successfully. Wido tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wido wants to control but johnson is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wido is wriggling around trying to escape.

And that's the end of the fight! tyrone johnson showed his dominance in that final round. Well johnson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Acey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taka Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanaka comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Muse - Citizen Erased kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Taka Tanaka told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tanaka swats away the attempt to clinch by Acey . Tanaka darts in and clinches Acey up against the cage. Acey is looking to break free of the clinch but Tanaka has double underhooks. Acey lands on the inside with an uppercut. Tanaka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Acey has managed to clinch.
Acey blocks an elbow strike. Tanaka manages to break the clinch.
Acey misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tanaka.
Acey drops his shoulder and cracks Tanaka with a huge uppercut! Tanaka goes down! Can Acey finish him?
Tanaka is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Acey gets to his feet and stands over Tanaka, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Tanaka felt that one! Acey unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Tanaka from any more punishment!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eigo throws a half hearted mid kick. Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nice shot by Eigo. Silva shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Eigo tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Silva throws a shot from downtown. Eigo moves away and avoids it. Eigo misses with a body kick. Silva works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Eigo connects with a crisp jab. Eigo misses with the combination.
Mike Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva throws a solid leg kick but Eigo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Silva. Eigo is rocked! Silva shoots and misses and Eigo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Eigo is still on wobbly legs! Can Silva finish him? That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Eigo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Silva - the referee stops the clock and Eigo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Silva. Eigo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Eigo seems to have recovered his senses. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Eigo thows a body shot but no joy. Eigo tries to land a body kick and Silva counters with a lovely straight right hand! Eigo waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Silva. Eigo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

A right-left combo lands from Eigo. Silva buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Eigo works over Silva's head and body with a nice combination.

Silva scores with a jab. Eigo acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Nice straight punches there by Eigo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Eigo. Eigo misses with a double jab
and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Eigo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there. Silva lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Silva stays in close to Eigo's body and controls the position. Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Silva pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Eigo is keeping the position for now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva throws a nice outside leg kick. Some wild striking there from Eigo.

Silva has a takedown stuffed. Silva connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Eigo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Eigo tries to bum rush Silva with a series of wild strikes but Silva uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Silva looks for a takedown but Eigo sprawls well. Silva throws a lazy right hand but Eigo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Eigo throws a right and a left that both miss. Eigo lands a really nice looking cross but Silva seems unphased.

and Silva counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Silva cracks the inside of Eigo's front leg. Silva gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Eigo counters with a three punch combo that has Silva backing up. Silva nods at Eigo to acknowledge the strikes. Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Eigo's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Silva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Silva tries to pass to full mount but Eigo defends it. Eigo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Eigo. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Silva throws out a leg kick but Eigo moves out of range and Silva only half commits. Eigo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Silva. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Eigo throws a push kick but Silva slaps the foot to one side. Silva misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Eigo.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ware is trying to get back to full guard. Miyagi is looking for a kimura but Ware is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Miyagi to get the leverage. Miyagi throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ware throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Miyagi. Ware looks gassed! Nice sprawl there from Ware as Miyagi shoots in. Ware lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Miyagi at a distance.

Miyagi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ware knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Miyagi trying to control the action but Ware is working from the bottom. Miyagi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ware is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Miyagi wants to take a breather but Ware manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Miyagi. Miyagi looking to sit in guard and control but Ware gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ware tries to free his leg and advance position but Miyagi is retaining full guard. Ware throwing strikes but missing. Miyagi keeping moving, preventing Ware from controlling successfully. Miyagi working a defensive guard but Ware passes into half guard.

Miyagi is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ware pulls his head out easily. Miyagi is trying to maintain the position but Ware is very close to passing his half guard. Ware looking for a submission but Miyagi manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Ware is sitting in close to Miyagi's body. Miyagi has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Ware is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Ware is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Miyagi.

Grabber loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Grabber stops Muscle from standing up. Muscle keeping full guard, as Grabber tries to pass. Grabber slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Grabber is working Muscle over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Grabber postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ruscle Muscle will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Bond! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ue throws a series of punches but Bond avoids them all with ease. Ue fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bond on the side of the head.
Bond is rocked! Bond looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Bond slips a jab and a cross from Ue.
Ue throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ue fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bond throws a jab when Ue was well out of range. Q Ue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bond checks a low kick from Ue. Ue misses with the combination.
Some wild striking there from Ue.
Ue tries to land a body kick and Bond counters with a left to the body. Ue tries to bum rush Bond with a series of wild strikes but Bond uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ue takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Ue misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ue is breathing heavily. Bond throws a nice inside leg kick. Bond comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Bond thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ue if he has to take too many more of those.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ue takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Ue misses with a double jab
and Bond counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ue is lucky that one didn't land flush. Ue throws a combination that misses and Bond counters with a head kick. That will keep Ue thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Ue is rocked! Ue throws a combination that misses and Bond counters with a flying knee. Nice. Oh Ue is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Bond throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bond pushes Ue away with a front kick. Ue takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Bond scores with a push kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Bond! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). James Bond! James Bond is the new middleweight champion!
