Griffith lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Griffith fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Eckert square on the jaw! Damn, Eckert is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. John Kostya struggled to make weight for this fight. Nice takedown defense from Ali. No joy for Biggums on that attempt.
Biggums shoots in and bounces Ali off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Biggums drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Biggums jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Biggums with a flurry of punches that miss.

Biggums in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Biggums cracks Ali with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Biggums working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Biggums wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ali, who protects the arm well.
Ali tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Biggums wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Ali managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Biggums.
The strikes coming from Biggums are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Biggums has hold of Ali's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ali tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Biggums cranks the arm and Ali screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ali, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
