The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sprecht ducks straight into an uppercut from Mercado and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Sprecht maanges to regain guard straight away.

It looks like Gunther Sprecht has been cut.
Mercado is looking to stand up but Sprecht won't let him.
Sprecht looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mercado puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Mercado prevents Sprecht from improving his position.

Snake walks straight into a right hand from Cloo - that's dropped him! Cloo jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Snake from any more punishment! Snake complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
