Doc cracks Mitchell with an uppercut from hell and Mitchell crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Doc's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Nugget pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Taylor was done - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Groove wants to clinch up but owens keeps it at a distance.
Groove shoots in but no luck this time.
The fight stays on the outside here - Groove looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
owens throws a right hand that Groove ducks under and follows up with a left that Groove also avoids with ease.
frank owens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
owens clinches up against the cage.
owens has picked Groove up - he's going for a ride! owens dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Groove is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Groove blocking the ground and pound attempt from owens.
Groove keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Groove trying to control but owens postures up.
owens is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Groove has managed to free his arm - good work.
Groove is looking to control owens's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Groove avoid being mounted?

owens decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Groove gets caught flat footed, as owens shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
owens thows a big elbow that misses.
owens keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Groove's head.
Groove preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
owens with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Groove wants to get back to his feet but owens is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Groove wants to sweep here but owens controlling him for the moment.
owens has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
owens is breathing heavily.
owens won't allow Groove to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Groove is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
owens missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
owens landing with the ground and pound.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
owens tries for a takedown but Groove circles away easily
and Groove counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Horrible takedown by owens or perhaps it was just good defense by Groove which made him look bad.
Groove stuffs the takedown attempt from owens. owens gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for frank owens. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Groove drives through with a takedown into guard.
owens has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Groove should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, owens has tightened it up now! Groove should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
