The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conifer throws a head kick that misses. Dos Santos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Conifer misses with a double jab.
Conifer stuffs the takedown attempt from Dos Santos. Dos Santos gets slowly back to his feet. Conifer wants to clinch. Dos Santos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Conifer tries to stand but Dos Santos is controlling from the bottom. Conifer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Conifer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dos Santos throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dos Santos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Conifer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Conifer wants to stand but Dos Santos has a closed guard, so he can't escape. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dos Santos holds on and takes a little breather. Dos Santos being controlled here, momentarily. Dos Santos is looking for a triangle but Conifer pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Conifer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Conifer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dos Santos looks gassed! Dos Santos is trying to control the position but Conifer postures up. Dos Santos looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Conifer passes into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Conifer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dos Santos does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dos Santos won't allow Conifer to pass to mount. Conifer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dos Santos keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dos Santos looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Conifer wants to stand up but Dos Santos manages to regain full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Conifer takes the fight into the clinch. Conifer comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Conifer jumps guard and drags Dos Santos to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dos Santos with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Gabriel Dos Santos will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dos Santos keeps the fight on the outside. John Conifer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dos Santos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Conifer misses with a takedown attempt and Dos Santos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Conifer won't be happy with that. Dos Santos tries for a kimura but Conifer is defending well. Conifer is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dos Santos tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Dos Santos trying to control the position but Conifer is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dos Santos working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Conifer is trying to improve his position. Conifer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dos Santos on the ground. Dos Santos tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dos Santos has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Conifer can't do much from the bottom here.

Dos Santos throws a strike aimed at the side of Conifer's head but Conifer avoids it well. Dos Santos slows the pace down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos decides to stand up, so the ref orders Conifer to his feet. Conifer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Conifer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Conifer closes the distance and clinches. Dos Santos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Conifer smiles and moves away.
Conifer tries to clinch but fails miserably and Dos Santos counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dos Santos stands and throws Conifer's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gabriel Dos Santos has got the better of the ground game so far. Conifer is trying to improve his position. Dos Santos trying to control the position but Conifer is working away. Dos Santos is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Conifer looks calm but he's in trouble here. Dos Santos gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Conifer is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Dos Santos lets go of the hold and Conifer can pop his arm back in it's socket.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, JT Deck! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from McGuire. No joy for Deck on that attempt. Deck scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. McGuire fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The fighters circling - McGuire throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Deck keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Deck staying out of range there. McGuire throws a head kick but Deck moves out of range.
Deck throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends McGuire stumbling backwards into the cage! McGuire bounces back off the cage towards Deck, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Deck lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Deck celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Rage jumps guard but Amber stands there with Rage around his waist. Rage gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Amber crunches a lovely knee into Rage's ribcage. Amber pulls guard effortlessly. Rage wants to pass the guard but Amber is keeping the position. Rage wants to stand but Amber is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amber looking for a sweep. Not yet Amber, not yet. Rage looking to pass the guard. Rage is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Amber wants to stand up but Rage is controlling him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Amber gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Amber escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Amber connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rage. Rage circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Amber has Rage up against the cage in a clinch.
Rage is pressed up against the cage. Amber has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rage down to the mat. Rage avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Amber moves into range and clinches up with Rage. Amber breaks from the clinch.
A head kick from Amber lands but Rage takes it in his stride. Amber scores with a one two! Rage had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Richard Rage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rage scores with a takedown into Amber's guard. Amber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rage on the ground. Amber is looking to stand up but Rage isn't so interested in that idea. Rage looking to pass the guard. Rage looks gassed! Rage advances to half guard. Amber won't allow Rage to pass to mount.

Amber wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Rage slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rage has an Americana. Amber didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Rage is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rage hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Quincy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carlson's waist but Carlson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quincy off to one side. Carlson with a lazy takedown attempt and Quincy counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Damien Quincy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Carlson. Quincy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Quincy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Carlson defends it well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Quincy prevents Carlson from improving his position. Carlson keeps control of the position for the meantime.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanzo scores with a sloppy right hand. Flay should have avoided that one. Flay could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Flay feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hanzo has momentary wrist control but Flay slips an elbow through the middle. Hanzo will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nicky Noons! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clayton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Clayton fails with the takedown. Clayton throws a chopping leg kick but Noons manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Noons steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clayton. Clayton gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Clayton shoots in but Noons avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Clayton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Clayton looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Clayton stops Noons from standing up. Clayton wants to control from the top but Noons keeps moving. Clayton prevents Noons from getting back to his feet. Clayton trying to control but Noons is working from the bottom. Clayton thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Noons wants to get back to his feet but Clayton is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Clayton passes easily into side control. Nice work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Clayton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Noons's waist but Noons gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Clayton off to one side. Clayton fails with the takedown. Clayton is breathing heavily. Noons will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Clayton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Noons scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Clayton fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Clayton takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Horrible takedown by Clayton or perhaps it was just good defense by Noons which made him look bad. Clayton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Noons as he avoids it easily. Clayton looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Clayton trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Clayton works his foot free and advances to mount. Clayton throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Noons has his hands clasped together but Clayton breaks the hold and Noons is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Clayton!

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rudimar Fedrigo! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fedrigo throws a head kick but Humin moves out of range.

Humin shoots in and bounces Fedrigo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fedrigo wants to sweep here but Humin controlling him for the moment. Humin throwing strikes from guard but Fedrigo blocks nicely. Fedrigo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Humin's guard. Humin had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fedrigo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Humin Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fedrigo's back instead. You can see the frustration on Fedrigo's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Fedrigo manages to reverse the position and now he's in Humin's guard. Nice work there by Fedrigo.
Fedrigo is looking to advance position but Humin has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Humin misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Humin prevents Fedrigo from getting the reversal. Humin sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fedrigo tries to hold on but Humin pushes him away. Fedrigo tries to reverse the position but Humin maintains control. Fedrigo holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Humin tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Humin working away from the top, dropping strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Humin trying to control but he's not successful this time. Fedrigo tries to reverse the position but Humin maintains control. Humin is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Fedrigo can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Fedrigo is looking to improve his position but Humin isn't that keen on the idea. Humin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. A nice elbow there by Humin. Fedrigo is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fedrigo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Humin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fedrigo is looking to escape. Humin thowing shots but they're missing. Fedrigo gets back to half guard. Humin is breathing heavily. Fedrigo is trying to maintain the position but Humin is very close to passing his half guard. Humin wants to take a breather but Fedrigo is having none of it. Fedrigo is pressing down on Humin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Humin content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Fedrigo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Fedrigo throws his legs up looking for a submission but Humin uses it to pass to side control.

Fedrigo is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Humin pulls his head out easily. Humin gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Humin clinches up with Fedrigo and pushes him back against the cage. Humin ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Humin no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Humin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Humin keeping full guard, as Fedrigo tries to pass. Humin manages to escape and get back to his feet.

He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Fedrigo throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Humin because Fedrigo loaded up on that one. Fedrigo with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Humin wants to control but Fedrigo is having none of it. Fedrigo working for a submission but Humin is keeping him at bay. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Humin is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Fedrigo has taken his back.

Fedrigo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Humin stacks Fedrigo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Humin! Fedrigo is trying to get back to half guard. Humin working away. Fedrigo wants to get back to full guard. Humin decides to stand up. Fedrigo throws a series of punches but Humin avoids them all with ease. Humin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Humin works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Humin lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Humin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Humin in side control lands a decent elbow. Humin remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Fedrigo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

It looks like Jacob Hugh has been cut. Hugh looks gassed! Hugh tries to keep at a distance but Masterson has taken the fight into the clinch. Masterson breaks from the clinch.
Masterson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hugh to the mat! Hugh manages to get full guard. Masterson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Masterson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hugh, up you get! Masterson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hugh should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Masterson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hugh shoots and misses so Masterson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Hugh has his foot on Masterson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Masterson works his way back into a safe position though. Masterson wants to stand and escape but instead Hugh has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Hugh looking to pass the guard. Hugh advances to half guard. Hugh escapes and gets back to his feet. Hugh misses with a takedown attempt and Masterson counters by moving into the clinch. Masterson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hugh tries to clinch up but Masterson circles away and keeps his distance. Masterson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hugh looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hugh tries to get back to half guard but can't. Masterson decides to stand back up. Masterson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hugh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Masterson lands with a right and another and another! Hugh is in big trouble! Masterson lands again and this time it's lights out for Hugh! A quality knockout there for Masterson.
