The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. LaMotta moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. LaMotta wants to get back to his feet but Cone is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Cone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. LaMotta is keeping the position for now. Cone stopping the sweep attempt from LaMotta. LaMotta wants to stand up but Cone is controlling him. Cone being controlled here momentarily. LaMotta wants to stand up but Cone is controlling him. LaMotta utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Cone is looking to work some ground and pound but LaMotta has wrist control.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cone instigates a clinch. LaMotta wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. LaMotta controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Baldwin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Jab by Baldwin. Baldwin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Baldwin. Bradshaw blocks a head kick by Baldwin.
Bradshaw walks into a straight right hand from Baldwin. Baldwin lands with a hook. Bradshaw tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Baldwin looks to land a combination but Bradshaw avoids it well. Baldwin gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bradshaw fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Baldwin has hold of one of Bradshaw's legs. Bradshaw is fighting the takedown attempt but Baldwin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Baldwin scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Good leg kick by Baldwin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
No joy there for Baldwin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baldwin throws a leg kick which misses Bradshaw's front leg but catches the back leg as Bradshaw tries to avoid it. Bradshaw drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Baldwin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Baldwin lands with a right that hurts Bradshaw. Bradshaw looks to clinch but Baldwin throws a short knee that drops Bradshaw. This one is all over!

Dorsey tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Dorsey is still in real trouble! Can Simmons finish him? Machsilva doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Machsilva manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Williams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Williams manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Slater can do anything to dispel that myth. Slater is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Crunch! Griffith slams his shin into Staley's torso. Griffith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Griffith missing with a left hand there. Staley was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Staley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Griffith's waist but Griffith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Staley off to one side. Griffith displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Staley is rocked! Griffith thows a left - swing and a miss! Staley is still on wobbly legs! Can Griffith finish him? Griffith misses with a straight left. Staley uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Griffith. Griffith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Staley. Staley ducks under a wild hook from Griffith. Griffith looks to land a right hand but Staley moved out of range. Griffith throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Griffith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Staley shoots for a takedown but Griffith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Staley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Griffith.

Staley looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A head kick by Griffith - that's a beauty! Staley is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Griffith can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Yaazzout closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Yaazzout lands a hook to the side of the head. Yaazzout lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Clark backwards. A short right from Yaazzout on the inside. Yaazzout blocks an uppercut.

It looks like John Clark has been cut. Yaazzout has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Clark - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Yaazzout, and another! Clark is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
