The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andersson drives through and clinches with Sir Killalot against the cage.
Andersson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Andersson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Sir Killalot misses with some punches.
Sir Killalot tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Sir Killalot misses with a short punch on the inside. Andersson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Andersson connects with a nice cross there... Sir Killalot is looking wobbly and Andersson recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Sir Killalot to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Andersson jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Claremont shoots for a double leg takedown but Lette sprawls well. He's pushed Claremont's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Claremont tries for a takedown but Lette sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Claremont fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Claremont. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lette with a lazy takedown attempt and Claremont counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Claremont. Claremont postures up.
Claremont lands a couple of elbows. Claremont won't allow Lette to sweep him here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Claremont accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lette looking to control.

Lette wants to control but Claremont is keeping him busy. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Claremont is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Claremont is looking to control Lette's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Claremont avoid being mounted? Claremont makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Claremont. Claremont bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lette's guard. Claremont passes Lette's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Claremont content to control rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Claremont is looking to take a break and control but Lette is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Claremont stalling. Claremont is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Claremont lands with a punch from half guard. Claremont passes to full mount! Claremont is landing with some decent strikes but Lette is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lette is in a horrible position here. Claremont smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Claremont looking to control but Lette is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Claremont landing strikes, looking to finish! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Matt Claremont will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Claremont stands and throws Lette's legs to the side, diving into side control. Claremont creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Claremont here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Lette sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Lette moves into full guard.
Claremont slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lette striking off his back but it's not causing Claremont any problems. Claremont wants to control from the top but Lette keeps moving. Claremont postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Claremont trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Claremont preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Claremont pushing down on Lette's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Lette is staying active underneath Claremont, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Lette is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Claremont winds up and cracks Lette with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Lette gets full guard. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lette wants to sweep here but Claremont controlling him for the moment. Rodgers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rodgers sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Pace to the ground! Rodgers dives into full mount looking to finish!
It looks like Ben Pace has been cut. Rodgers is landing with some decent strikes but Pace is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Rodgers with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Mounds.
Mounds has managed to clinch.
Mounds wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mounds wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Knight has him pressed against the cage. Knight changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mounds fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Knight should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Knight shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Knight was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Mounds is trying desperately to improve position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knight has control of Mounds's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mounds regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Mounds is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Knight has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mounds has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Knight looks gassed! Mounds has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Knight is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quick shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith but Smith pushes him off and we're back to square one. Quick shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smith as he jumps to the side. Quick shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Quick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Satan Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Quick. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Quick. Quick gets a takedown into half guard. Quick is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Quick looks gassed! Quick trying to pass the guard but Smith defending well. Quick trying to advance position but Smith counters by regaining guard. Smith is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Quick stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Horrible takedown by Quick or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith which made him look bad. Smith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Quick looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Quick manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Smith is defending against the submission attempts here by Quick.
Quick looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

OConnell follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Money to the canvas! OConnell pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Money has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Niemi stuffs the takedown attempt from Wright. Wright gets slowly back to his feet. Niemi fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Niemi slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Wright throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Niemi shoots for a double leg takedown but Wright sprawls well. He's pushed Niemi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Niemi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wright could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Wright on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Niemi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wright throws out the jab. Niemi tries to clinch up but Wright circles away and keeps his distance. Wright will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junttila tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Junttila fails to land the takedown. Junttila fails with the takedown. Junttila gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rivero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Junttila. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rivero stands up over Junttila, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Rivero loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Rivero is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there.
