Burnside has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Berry has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Burnside taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Berry doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Simpson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Wegesin anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Simpson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Wegesin slips an arm under Simpson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Wegesin has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Wegesin is squeezing on Simpson like an anaconda would it's prey. Simpson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Borg Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borg Hanson had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Markus Wolf was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

It looks like Markus Wolf has been cut.
Hanson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hanson works Wolf's body with a nice hook.

Hanson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hanson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wolf moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hanson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hanson closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Wolf! Hanson dives in looking to finish! Wolf is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Barnes has chosen Advance Australia Fair - Adam Hills as his entrance music. Keenin Klein had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I think Graves might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Demon Hunter - Beheaded. Son is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I WILL BE HEARD. Daniel Son will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Sherk is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wallace is on top in guard.
Sherk has momentary wrist control but Wallace slips an elbow through the middle.
Wallace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sherk swivels though and keeps the full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wallace distracts Sherk with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Sherk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wallace can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Wallace shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Sherk holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sherk is pressed up against the cage. Wallace has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sherk down to the mat. Sherk avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sherk looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wallace is fending him off so far but Sherk persists. Nope, Wallace circles away and we're back to standing.

Sherk has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sherk is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Wallace is in real trouble.

Sherk manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jean claude Sherk just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Sherk closes the distance and clinches up with Wallace, looking for a takedown. Sherk pushes Wallace against the cage but Wallace circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sherk seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wallace does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Sherk is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Wallace is just riding it out for now. Sherk eventually gives up the hold.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Sherk counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wallace's guard now.

Sherk looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sherk is looking to take a break and control but Wallace is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sherk seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Wallace is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
