1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Beaulieu! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sap gets a takedown into half guard. Sap slips a nice elbow through Beaulieu's hands, connecting with Beaulieu's forehead. Beaulieu wants to improve his position but Sap is controlling well.
Sap is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Beaulieu is rocked! Sap lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Beaulieu quite badly. Beaulieu pulls Sap in close trying to recover. Sap postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Beaulieu on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Beaulieu doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A leg kick checked by Alzado. Alzado shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Alzado scoring with punches to the head and body. Alzado thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rogers wants to stand and escape but Alzado is having none of it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Alzado trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Alzado stands and throws Rogers's legs to the side, diving into side control. Rogers on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Alzado is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rogers is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rogers is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rogers takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alzado thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Rogers tries to escape but Alzado is in control. Rogers sneaks out the side door and pushes Alzado away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Rogers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alzado shoots in but no luck this time. Rogers throws a hook but Alzado avoids it easily. Rogers darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alzado gets a takedown into half guard. Alzado wants to pass to mount but Rogers is defending the position. Rogers tries to kick Alzado off but Alzado keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rogers won't allow Alzado to pass to mount. Alzado is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rogers! Alzado prevents Rogers from getting the reversal. Alzado won't let Rogers get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Rogers taking shots to the head. Alzado has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rogers is looking to get to half guard. Alzado is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Alzado extends the arm and Rogers is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Zulu is trying to break free. Lector unloads a knee to the mid-section. Zulu lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Lector lands a nice elbow. Zulu tries to pull guard but Lector holds him up against the cage and eventually Zulu drops back down to his feet.
Lector has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Zulu clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Lector is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Zulu taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Lector.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ehmann moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Bo Jaxson has been cut. Jaxson tries to clinch up. Jaxson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ehmann swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bo Jaxson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ehmann avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ehmann closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ehmann lands in his opponent's guard. Ehmann tries to free his leg and advance position but Jaxson is retaining full guard. Ehmann might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ehmann is working hard here to advance position. Ehmann with a flurry of punches that miss. Ehmann slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Ehmann misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ehmann lands a nice forearm strike. Ehmann swings around for an armbar but Jaxson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ehmann's guard. Ehmann doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Ehmann tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ehmann tries to move to mount but Jaxson blocks the move with his legs. Ehmann sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jaxson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Jaxson blocking the ground and pound. Ehmann sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Ehmann is breathing heavily. Ehmann had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jaxson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ehmann Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jaxson's back instead. Jaxson trying to get back to his feet but Ehmann is in full control for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Still, being mounted isn't any better. Ehmann misses with a head shot. Ehmann throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Jaxson because Ehmann loaded up on that one. Ehmann is landing with some decent strikes but Jaxson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Ehmann throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. The referee warns Jaxson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ehmann thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Poor strikes thrown by Ehmann there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Ehmann with a flurry of punches that miss. Jaxson keeping full guard, as Ehmann tries to pass. Ehmann is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jaxson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jaxson has escaped and now he's on top! Jaxson wants to stand but Ehmann has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ehmann trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Ehmann doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Ehmann striking off his back but it's not causing Jaxson any problems. Ehmann looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jaxson is one step ahead there. Ehmann has a closed guard, preventing Jaxson from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jaxson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ehmann to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jaxson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ehmann pulls down on the head and he's put Jaxson to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Daniels misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Daniels grinds an elbow into Balic's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Daniels working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Balic tries to get back to half guard but can't. Daniels wants to lay and pray for a moment but Balic keeps working. Balic takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Daniels lands an elbow. Daniels with the ground and pound but Balic regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Balic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Daniels is tying to control. Balic wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels working Balic over with strikes. Daniels throwing shots but Balic is blocking nicely. Balic looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Balic on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Balic is rocked! Balic is in trouble now - Daniels has advanced to mount! Balic is still in real trouble! Can Daniels finish him? Daniels postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Balic in real trouble here! The ref calls for Balic to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Davis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Davis displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. McBride is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Davis. McBride looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Davis lands a jab-cross combination. Davis throws a right hand that McBride ducks under and follows up with a left that McBride also avoids with ease. A combination from Davis does no damage. Davis throws a series of punches but McBride moves out of range. McBride shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Davis wants to get back to his feet. McBride is looking to advance position but Davis won't allow it. McBride content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis is looking to escape. McBride gets to his feet - back to striking we go! A head kick misses from Davis. McBride shoots for a double leg takedown but Davis sprawls well. He's pushed McBride's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Davis is looking to clinch. Davis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McBride. McBride dodges the punch combination from Davis.
Davis is breathing heavily. McBride closes the distance and clinches. McBride tries to pull guard but Davis won't allow it.
Duke Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul McBride. Davis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. McBride is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Davis can't break the clinch.
McBride has clasped his hands together around Davis's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McBride trying to control the action but Davis is working from the bottom. McBride stands up. Davis avoids a punch combination nicely.

Davis throws a combination that misses and McBride counters with a stiff right hand. Davis tries to clinch but fails miserably and McBride counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! McBride is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Davis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McBride. McBride working the head and body with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McBride is taking a breather. Davis says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Davis looks like he's trying to stand up.

McBride takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. McBride looking to control but Davis is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. McBride unloading with bombs! McBride moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Davis has worked his arm free - good work by Davis!

Davis controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Davis is not content to let McBride control the position.

McBride will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. McBride takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
McBride shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McBride showed some decent athleticism there. Davis wants to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McBride uses his free foot to push down on Davis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Davis. Davis is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Williams showed some decent athleticism there. Buchanan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Williams scoring with strikes to the body and head. Williams moves into full mount! Buchanan won't be happy about that! Buchanan throwing hammer fists to the chest of Williams. What's that going to do exactly? Williams breaks from Buchanan's wrist control and lands an elbow. Williams controlling the position easily from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buchanan in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Buchanan is bucking up trying to escape but Williams cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Williams is landing with some decent strikes but Buchanan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Buchanan is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Williams is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Buchanan is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Buchanan flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Williams anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Buchanan and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Williams slips an arm under Buchanan chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Williams has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Williams is squeezing on Buchanan like an anaconda would it's prey. Buchanan fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Constrictor shoots in for a double leg but Nightmare sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nightmare fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Constrictor. Nightmare tries to clinch up. Nightmare fails in his attempt to clinch. Constrictor avoids the head kick by Nightmare.
Nightmare shoots and misses and Constrictor counters with a shoot takedown. Nightmare fights it but they end up in guard. Constrictor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Nightmare looking to hit a scissor sweep but Constrictor is one step ahead there. Constrictor looking to pass the guard. Nightmare knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Constrictor on the ground. Nightmare tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Nightmare misses with a takedown and Constrictor counters with a shoot takedown. Nightmare fights it but they end up in guard. Constrictor advances to half guard. Nightmare missing with punches from the bottom.
Constrictor is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Nightmare! Nightmare is looking to get to half guard. Constrictor is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Nightmare has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Constrictor is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Nightmare is in real trouble.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Constrictor is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Nightmare with him. Nightmare is trying to defend but Constrictor has an arm under the chin now! Nightmare grimaces and is forced to tap out!
