Barbour changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pong looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Barbour has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Pong is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Barbour yanks on the arm and Pong is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Barbour.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Gee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce Lee had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jeremy Gee will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gee lands with a nice body kick.
Lee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lee lands in his opponent's guard. Gee wants to sweep but no luck. Gee wants to get back to his feet but Lee is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Gee trying to control the position.
Gee throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Lee stops Gee from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee trying to control but Gee is working from the bottom. Gee keeping full guard, as Lee tries to pass. Lee is breathing heavily.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gee takes the fight into the clinch. Good body shot from Gee.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Gee throws a knee to the head but misses.
Lee lands a right hand. Gee misses with a knee strike.
Gee misses with a knee to the head.
Gee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
so Lee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Lee has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Lee postures up.
Gee keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Lee is really struggling to control Gee but he's trying to hold on to the position. Gee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard.
Gee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lee manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gee has Lee in his guard. Gee wants to stand but Lee is controlling the position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Gee sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Lee lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Lee prevents Gee from standing back up.

 Gee is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! Gee tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Lee manages to move to mount!
Gee is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him? Gee taking shots to the head. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Lee cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Gee wants to control but Lee is having none of it. Lee with a couple of short strikes. You get the feeling that Gee really doesn't like being in this position too much.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee working Gee over with strikes here. A nice elbow there by Lee. Lee controlling from the full mount. Lee in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Gee reaches up to try and control the position but Lee seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Gee rolls and tries to escape and now Lee has his back!
Lee is working for a rear naked choke. Gee is not defending it well and Lee has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Gee refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Gee's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Costanza shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackson's guard. Jackson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Costanza! Costanza tries to get back to half guard but can't. Costanza regains half guard. Costanza is trying to get back to full guard.
Jackson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Costanza to stand up. Jackson is looking to land body kicks. Jackson is breathing heavily.
Jackson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Costanza! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Costanza is working to get back to half guard.
Costanza is squirming around, avoiding Jackson's attempts to control the action.
Costanza bucks up and throws Jackson to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Both fighters circling a little - Costanza finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Jackson drops Costanza with a left and a right! Oh, Costanza is hurt - Jackson dives into side control looking to finish!
 Costanza is rocked!
 It looks like George Costanza has been cut. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Costanza is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
Jackson stands up. Jackson lands with a big right hook that stumbles Costanza - he's out on his feet here! Jackson follows up with another monster hook that separates Costanza from consciousness! Costanza falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Jackson stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from James does no damage. Larusso throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around James's waist but James gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Larusso off to one side.
James shoots in and bounces Larusso off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. James controls from within his opponent's guard. James trying to stand up but can't free himself from Larusso's guard. Larusso looking to sweep here. No luck so far. James is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Larusso might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. James wants to control from the top but Larusso keeps moving. James is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Larusso looking to hit a scissor sweep but James is one step ahead there. James slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. James is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Larusso is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst James is controlling him.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James misses with a looping right. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Thomason lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and James has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from James and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. James should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Thomason misses with a hook. James ducked under it nicely.
James shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Thomason tries to kick James off but James keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. James wants to control but Thomason is keeping him busy.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mustain has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
