Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jukka Isokyyko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hank Calloway! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calloway throws a body kick that misses. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Calloway.
A big left from Calloway misses. Calloway misses with a jab, cross combination.
Isokyyko slips a straight right by Calloway. Isokyyko takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Calloway misses with an uppercut. Calloway ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Isokyyko moves away. Calloway fails to land the takedown. Hank Calloway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Calloway shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Calloway trying to control but Isokyyko is working from the bottom. Calloway with a flurry of punches that miss. Isokyyko is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Calloway prevents Isokyyko from getting back to his feet. Isokyyko had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Calloway is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Calloway must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Isokyyko looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Calloway will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Calloway throws a series of punches but Isokyyko moves out of range. Calloway is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Isokyyko rather than just go for the knockout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Calloway keeps the fight on the outside. Calloway lands a right hook to the body.
Calloway throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Isokyyko sees it coming and avoids it easily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Calloway, as that shot connected.

He's pushed Calloway's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Calloway stuffs the takedown. Isokyyko tries to clinch but fails miserably and Calloway counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Calloway. Isokyyko tries to land knees in the clinch but Calloway avoids the damage to the body. Calloway using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Isokyyko has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Isokyyko throws a head kick that half lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Calloway sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Isokyyko lands a high kick!

Isokyyko takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Isokyyko can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Calloway is looking to escape. Isokyyko is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Calloway can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Cop shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barker pinned against the cage. Barker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Cop tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Barker paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cop shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cop was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Barker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cop on the ground. Barker tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cop wants to take his opponent's back but Barker doesn't allow it. Barker is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Barker can't escape the position.

He has the arm isolated but Barker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Cop tries to advance to mount but Barker denies him. The ground and pound from Cop seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Cop working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Cop trying to control the position but Barker is working away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Barker manages to break the clinch.
Cop feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Barker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cop passes into half guard. Cop changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Barker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Barker is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cop is controlling him well. Cop goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Barker has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cop but great work by Barker. Cop manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Cop is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Barker pulls his head out easily. Robo Cop has got the better of the ground game so far. Cop gets back to full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cleagen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Carano looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Cleagen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Cleagen stopping the sweep attempt from Carano. Cleagen works over Carano with some ground and pound from guard. Cleagen with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Carano bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cleagen's guard. Cleagen will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Cleagen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Cleagen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cleagen is in close to Carano's body, working some short punches and elbows. Cleagen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cleagen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Carano's head. Cleagen passes into half guard. Carano wants to control but Cleagen is keeping busy and won't allow it. Cleagen passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Carano! Carano regains half guard. Carano is trying to control but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cleagen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Carano is looking to control Cleagen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Carano avoid being mounted? Cleagen is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Cleagen uses his free foot to push down on Carano's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Carano. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cleagen scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Carano?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Dude feints and as World raises his hands in defense, The Dude changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. World controls The Dude momentarily but The Dude frees himself. World really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Dude. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The Dude has gone for a leg lock! World slips out almost immediately though and dives into The Dude's guard. The Dude keeping moving, preventing World from controlling successfully. The Dude looking for a guillotine here but World defends easily.
