The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
J throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McMasters.
J stuffs the takedown.
McMasters shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has J pinned against the cage. J gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McMasters shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Brijwanth J has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Merrick McMasters.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
J throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McMasters shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has J pinned against the cage. J gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

J throws a series of punches but McMasters avoids them all with ease.
J misses with a series of wild punches.
McMasters tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but J swivels and escapes.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McMasters fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McMasters will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

McMasters drops back looking for a leg! J is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and J manages to kick McMasters off! McMasters jumps back into J's guard.
J is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McMasters is controlling him.

J wants to stand but McMasters is controlling the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McMasters fails to land the takedown.
J will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

McMasters tries for a takedown but J sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

J throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McMasters stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

McMasters misses with a takedown attempt - J sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
J looks to score with a jab to the body but McMasters is just out of range.
McMasters is breathing heavily.

McMasters shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says J as he avoids it easily.
Brijwanth J has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Merrick McMasters.
J throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
J lands with an uppercut that bounces McMasters off the ropes and back into rage.
McMasters shoots in for a double leg but J sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

McMasters ducks right into an uppercut from J.
J misses with an uppercut. McMasters saw that one coming.
J changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
McMasters has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from J finds it's way round the side to connect with McMasters's head.
J throws the left hand but McMasters avoids the punch easily.
McMasters avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McMasters slips a straight right by J.

J swings for the body but McMasters moves out of range.
McMasters shoots in looking for a takedown. J tries to sprawl out of it but McMasters keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. J manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
J bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McMasters's head backwards.
J thows a left - swing and a miss!
J scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

J rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McMasters moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

McMasters shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in J's guard.
J keeping moving, preventing McMasters from controlling successfully.
McMasters won't allow J to get back to his feet.
McMasters stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. J swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brijwanth J dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McMasters accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

McMasters is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Romano postures up in Buck's guard and throws a big left but Buck blocks it.
Romano forces his way into half guard.
Romano is just content to waste time from the top position. Buck takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Buck wants to stand and escape but Romano is having none of it.
Buck is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Romano stands up over Buck, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Buck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Romano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Romano controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Buck wants to get back to full guard.

Buck has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Romano is proving hard to escape from.
Romano is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Romano seems keen to control Buck's posture.
Romano is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
