las shoots for a takedown but Wood saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
las shoots in but no luck this time.
Wood keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for At las. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wood lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Thomison throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gonzalez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

That was a close round but I would say that Joaquin Hansen will probably get the nod.

McPain lands a huge takedown. Hansen is out but the ref is slow to react and McPain lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Hansen lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Louis St Laurent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Via Dios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Laurent comes to the cage accompanied by HateBreed - I will be heard. The crowd seem to be enjoying Dios's choice of entrance music: Sandstorm. Via Dios told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from St Laurent, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
