1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Garth Snow! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Campbell. No joy for Snow on that attempt. Campbell doesn't succeed with the takedown and Snow counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Campbell trying to control here.
Snow trying to control the action but Campbell is working from the bottom. Campbell keeps control of the position for the meantime. Campbell wants to improve his position but Snow is controlling well.
Snow is looking to advance position but Campbell won't allow it. Snow is tying to control. Campbell wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Snow is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Campbell is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Campbell with a poor takedown and Snow counters with a head kick. That will keep Campbell thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Campbell closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Campbell tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The crowd seem to be enjoying Matthews's choice of entrance music: "Here Comes The Pain" by Jim Johnston. domitor quicker looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Matthews shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and quicker counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Matthews manages to regain full guard. Nice work. quicker looking to pass the guard. Matthews had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. quicker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Oh Jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jones seems to have got his legs back now. Vempula tries to control but Jones wriggling away. Jones is trying desperately to improve position.

Jones crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Vempula - the referee stops the clock and Jones gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Vempula. Jones manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Jones stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Vempula. Vempula lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Vempula takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Vempula chopping away at his opponent's legs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Vempula throws a quick inside leg kick. Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Vempula sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones tries for a takedown but Vempula sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Vempula throws a leg kick which misses Jones's front leg but catches the back leg as Jones tries to avoid it. Ricardo Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Vempula - that will leave a mark!

Gaeshi rushes Valentine and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gaeshi manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Gaeshi wants to sweep but no luck.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from J. Fukamachi misses with a takedown and J counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fukamachi's guard now. Maximoff seems to have recovered his senses. Doan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Doan showed some decent athleticism there. Maximoff is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Doan scores with a couple of nice shots. Doan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not.
