The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Groos shoots for a double leg takedown but Mtariwa sprawls well. He's pushed Groos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Groos misses with a takedown attempt - Mtariwa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Groos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Groos wants to sweep here but Mtariwa controlling him for the moment.
Groos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mtariwa gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mtariwa sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Groos's guard.
Mtariwa not doing much here.
Mtariwa passes the guard and advances to mount!
Mtariwa is trying to take his opponent's back.
Mtariwa controlling the pace for now.
Mtariwa is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Tendai Mtariwa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mtariwa throws a low kick, looking for Groos's leg but Groos calmly moves out of range.
Groos with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mtariwa counters with a stiff right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Guto Groos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mtariwa gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Mtariwa lands a takedown into guard.
Mtariwa wants to control from the top but Groos keeps moving.
Groos looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Groos has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Mtariwa doesn't defend quickly enough and Groos has managed to lock this one up! Can Mtariwa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Groos on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakurai scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Who doesn't seem bothered though.
Sakurai keeps the fight on the outside.
Danga de danga de dang - Sakurai scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Elvis Who has been cut.
Who throws a sloppy head kick and Sakurai moves out of range easily.
Sakurai swinging wilding here.
Elvis Who seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Who throws a nice outside leg kick.
Who dodges the punch combination from Sakurai.
Who shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sakurai as he jumps to the side.
Sakurai's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Sakurai duly obliges.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Who attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Who feints and then cracks Sakurai's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sakurai down.
Sakurai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Who manages to avoid it.
Who avoids the body shot from Sakurai.
Sakurai cracks Who with a right hand to the side of the head.
Who tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sakurai paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sakurai misses with a body shot.
Sakurai throws a good cross that connects.
Who pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Who tries to clinch up but Sakurai circles away and keeps his distance.
Who keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A combination from Sakurai does no damage.
Who throws a combination that misses
and Sakurai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hideo Sakurai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sakurai drops Who with a beautiful combination! Who stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sakurai is looking for the KO!
Who is rocked!
Elvis Who's cut is getting worse.
Sakurai avoids the head kick by Who.
Oh Who is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Who is breathing heavily.
Who throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Who seems to have got his legs back now.
Sakurai lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Sakurai stuffs the takedown attempt from Who. Who gets slowly back to his feet.
Sakurai jabs at Who's body.
Sakurai is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Who rather than just go for the knockout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sakurai stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Elvis Who's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Who tries a head kick but it misses.
Who pushes Sakurai up against the cage in a clinch.
Sakurai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Who misses with a head kick.
Who lands a high kick!
Sakurai is rocked!
Sakurai throws a right and a left that Who avoids nicely.
Sakurai is still on wobbly legs! Can Who finish him?
Who tries to clinch up but Sakurai circles away and keeps his distance.
Sakurai seems to have recovered his senses.
Who knocks Sakurai to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sakurai is pushing Who's head away, looking to escape. Who manages to hold on to the position though.
Who tries to score with some ground and pound. Sakurai controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Who decides to stand back up. Who steps back and let's Sakurai get back to his feet.
Who lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sakurai's sensitive parts.
Who closes the distance but Sakurai moves to the side
and Sakurai counters with a nice body shot.
Who misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sakurai looks to land a combination but Who avoids it well.
Who lands with a slapping head kick.
Who lands a hook that stumbles Sakurai back into the cage. Who follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Sakurai to the canvas! Who pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Sakurai has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

The crowd seem to be enjoying Karmin's choice of entrance music: Eyes of the World. Victor Karmin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karmin doesn't manage to clinch there - Unconscious circles away.
Karmin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Unconscious paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Unconscious changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Karmin tries to avoid it but Unconscious manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Karmin to the ground. Karmin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Unconscious keeps the fight on the outside.
Unconscious circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Karmin to the canvas! Karmin doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Unconscious keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
