The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sapp seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Rhubarb shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Sapp is backing up but Rhubarb catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Sapp covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Rhubarb Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Taylor Gable! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rose scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Gable keeps the fight on the outside. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Rose.
Rose lands a slapping body shot.
Rose will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rose throws a right and a left that both miss. Rose could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Gable walks into a straight right hand from Rose. Decent striking displayed by Rose there. Alexander Rose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice uppercut there from Rose. Gable avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rose fails with the takedown. Rose darts in and clinches Gable up against the cage. Gable has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rose is trying to keep an underhook but Gable manages to get the takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gable trying to control the pace. Rose is pressing down on Gable's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rose throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice takedown defense from Gable. No joy for Rose on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Rose. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rose is breathing heavily. Gable shoots in for a double leg but Rose sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rose tries to clinch up but Gable circles away and keeps his distance. Rose has his takedown stuffed and Gable counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rose won't be happy with that. Gable moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Gable tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. You can see the frustration on Rose's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Rose tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gable wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gable throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Rose wants to get back to his feet but Gable drags him back down. Rose manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Rose gets back to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rose is on top in guard.
Rose trying to control but Gable is working from the bottom. Gable is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rose pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gable is keeping the position for now. Gable can't keep his opponent in guard - Rose advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rose is pressing down on Gable's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gable is holding on for now. Rose wants to control but Gable is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gable taking some punishment here, with Rose in his half guard. Rose stalling away here and it's allowed Gable to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Rose stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gable swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gable is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Gable rolls with it to try and escape but Rose cranks on the arm and Gable is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Back throws a nice looking combination but Spotwood bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Back looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Back misses with a head kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Spotwood. Spotwood tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Spotwood has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Spotwood stands up and beckons Back to his feet. A head kick misses from Back. The fight moves into the clinch position. Back is trying to break the clinch but Spotwood has him pressed against the cage. Back misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Spotwood.

Spotwood is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Back reverses the position - he's now on top in Spotwood's guard. Spotwood bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Back's guard. Spotwood missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Back keeping moving, preventing Spotwood from controlling successfully. Spotwood has gone for a leg lock! Back slips out almost immediately though and dives into Spotwood's guard. Nice BJJ displayed there by Spotwood.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ksawery tries to clinch up. Ksawery tries to clinch but Fedorov is having none of it. No luck for Fedorov with that takedown attempt. Ksawery fails in his attempt to clinch. Fedorov misses with a series of wild punches.
Ksawery moves in looking to clinch but Fedorov pushes him off. Fedorov throws a head kick that misses. Ksawery clinches. Fedorov wants to break the clinch but can't.
Ksawery has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Fedorov goes down! Ksawery dives on top of him - Fedorov manages to get guard.

It looks like Ivan Fedorov has been cut. Ksawery postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Fedorov covers up, he's hurt! Ksawery keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Ksawery and the ref steps in to end the fight! Ksawery can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Still in half guard, Cox seems content to control. Shifter is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cox throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Cox tries to pass the half guard into mount. Shifter knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Shifter is trying to stand back up but Cox is controlling him

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Cox works over Shifter's head and body with a nice combination. Shifter shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Cox counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Cox is figuring out what he wants to do next. Cox trying to control the action but Shifter is working from the bottom. Shifter is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cox's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cox's back! Cox Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Shifter's back instead. Shifter rolls, trying to escape but Cox keeps control of the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hutchins gets caught flat footed, as Wayne shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hutchins is striking off his back. Wayne thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Hutchins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Wayne blocks the strikes from Hutchins.
Wayne prevents Hutchins from improving his position. Hutchins is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hutchins is pressing down on Wayne's left leg trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hutchins is in bad spot here.
