Leonidas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zornach pinned against the cage. Zornach gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Leonidas drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Zornach regains half guard there - taking advantage of Leonidas's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Leonidas throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Leonidas is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leonidas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zornach does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Leonidas is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Zornach is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
