1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rec Spesh! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spesh throws a right hand that Wallace ducks under and follows up with a left that Wallace also avoids with ease. Wallace shoots in but Spesh avoids the takedown attempt easily. Spesh misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wallace really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Spesh throws a series of punches but Wallace moves out of range. It's a brutal combination of punches from Spesh! Wallace is backing up but he can't get away as Spesh lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Wallace and ends the fight. Great knockout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamamoto wants to clinch. Yamamoto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McNamara, pushing him back against the cage. Yamamoto prevents McNamara from breaking the clinch. Yamamoto breaks the clinch.
Yamamoto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McNamara swivels and escapes. Yamamoto avoids the head kick by McNamara.
McNamara drives through with a takedown into guard. McNamara is looking to stand up but Yamamoto won't let him. Yamamoto is trying to control the position but McNamara postures up. McNamara wants to control from the top but Yamamoto keeps moving. McNamara might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Yamamoto kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Yamamoto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McNamara's guard. McNamara is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! McNamara throws a head kick that misses and Yamamoto counters with a takedown into side control. McNamara throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Yamamoto advances to full mount. McNamara is just holding on here. Yamamoto manages to take his back.
McNamara is breathing heavily. Yamamoto is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. McNamara defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Yamamoto has hold of McNamara's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McNamara manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

McNamara bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Yamamoto takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Go Yamamoto just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Yamamoto tries to clinch but McNamara moves out of range. McNamara shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yamamoto pinned against the cage. Yamamoto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. After a battle for position, Yamamoto asserts his dominance and retains side control. Connor McNamara has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Yamamoto is looking to take a break and control but McNamara is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Yamamoto is putting a hurting on McNamara here, landing some big shots from side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Go Yamamoto showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yamamoto, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan gets caught flat footed, as Phoenix shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Phoenix trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Phoenix prevents Jordan from getting back to his feet. Phoenix pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jordan is keeping the position for now. Jordan looking for a sweep. Not yet Jordan, not yet. Phoenix wants to control from the top but Jordan keeps moving. Phoenix stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jordan holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Backer keeps the fight on the outside. Backer takes the fight into the clinch. Backer lands an elbow inside. Backer lands an elbow that stopped Coffee in his tracks for a moment. Backer stalling the fight.
Backer continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Coffee tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Backer jumps guard and drags Coffee to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Coffee wants to control from the top but Backer keeps moving. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Backer passes easily into side control. Nice work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gapuz gets caught flat footed, as Kong shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kong trying to control but Gapuz is working from the bottom. Kong passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gapuz keeps working. Gapuz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gapuz tries to get out of the position. Kong tries to move to mount but Gapuz blocks the move with his legs. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Kong has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Gapuz is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kong yanks on the arm and Gapuz is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kong.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia shoots in looking for a takedown. Vera tries to sprawl out of it but Garcia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vera manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Garcia shoots in but Vera avoids the takedown attempt easily. Garcia throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vera's waist but Vera gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Garcia off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyle Garcia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Garcia shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vera pinned against the cage. Vera gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A bone on bone clash there as Garcia blocks the leg kick.

Garcia changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vera looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Vera regains half guard. Vera tries to kick Garcia off but Garcia keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Garcia wants to pass the guard but Vera is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vera slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Vera wants to get back to his feet but Garcia is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Garcia throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Vera kicks Garcia off and gets to his feet. A lazy left from Vera finds it's target. Vera with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Vera cracks Garcia with a good jab. Garcia shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vera as he avoids it easily. Vera listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Vera lands a nice shot that snaps Garcia's head back.
Vera lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vera swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Garcia. Vera lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Garcia lands a jab to the nose. Vera jabs at Garcia's body. Vera swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James shoots in and bounces slugger off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. James looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! slugger wants to sweep but no luck. slugger keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully. James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. slugger swivels though and keeps the full guard. slugger wants to stand but James is controlling the position. slugger controls James momentarily but James frees himself. slugger manages to escape and get back to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hood clinches. Hood ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hood no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Hood escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Potter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Potter controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Potter postures up and lands a big shot to Hood's brow. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hood keeping full guard, as Potter tries to pass. Potter stands up and waves to Hood to follow him. Potter connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Hood takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Potter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Hood shoots in looking for a takedown. Potter tries to sprawl out of it but Hood keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Potter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hood shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Potter but Potter pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nice uppercut lands for Potter. That snapped Hood's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Potter scores with a jab to the body. Potter cracks Hood with a right hand to the side of the head.

Hood is rocked! Hood wants to clinch. Oh Hood is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Potter drops Hood with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hood! Potter dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

"Ole!" shouts Bonjasky as he jumps to the side. Bonjasky throws a nice outside leg kick. Kash is breathing heavily. Bonjasky feints and then cracks Kash's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kash down. Bonjasky cracks the inside of Kash's front leg. Bonjasky lands a body shot.

Bonjasky scoring well with a low kick there.
Kash darts in and clinches Bonjasky up against the cage. Kash tightens his grip and picks Bonjasky up, before dumping him to the ground. Bonjasky manages to land in guard. Bonjasky is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Kash goes for a takedown in the clinch but Bonjasky prevents it.

Kash darts in trying to clinch and Bonjasky counters with a good, hard body kick but Kash shrugs it off. Jason Kash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bonjasky's head. Kash seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Kash tries to stand and escape but Bonjasky actually recovers to full guard. Bonjasky utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kash lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Bonjasky steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kash. Bonjasky tries a head kick but it misses.
Bonjasky tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kash tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bonjasky counters with a nice kick to the body. Kash tries for a takedown but Bonjasky sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bonjasky misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kash.

Kash stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bonjasky. Nice body kick from Bonjasky. Kash shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bonjasky as he jumps to the side. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bonjasky connects with a high kick.
Jason Kash's cut is getting worse. Kash shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bonjasky's guard. Kash has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kash trying to control but Bonjasky is working from the bottom. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kash wants to stand but Bonjasky has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ernesto Bonjasky dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jason Kash's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Bonjasky tries to avoid it but Kash manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bonjasky to the ground. Bonjasky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bonjasky lands a nice looking body kick. Kash is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kash has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bonjasky. Kash shoots in looking for a takedown. Bonjasky tries to sprawl out of it but Kash keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bonjasky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ernesto Bonjasky seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bonjasky throws a nice outside leg kick. Bonjasky swats away the attempt to clinch by Kash. Kash fails to land the takedown. Kash throws a leg kick that is checked and Bonjasky counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kash is lucky that one didn't land flush. Kash will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Kash tries to clinch up and Bonjasky connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kash is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
