3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Corporal Sanders! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson closes the distance and lands a one-two. Sanders fails to land the takedown. Wilson darts in and clinches Sanders up against the cage. Sanders prevents Wilson from breaking the clinch. Wilson has had enough of the clinch but Sanders keeps him there for the moment. Sanders ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Sanders no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Wilson lands a couple of decent looking shots. Wilson stopping the sweep attempt from Sanders. Sanders has an active guard here but Wilson has managed to pass into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Wilson in particular looking to stall. Wilson is looking to advance position but Sanders won't allow it. Wilson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Zenji wants to control but Joe postures up. Joe throwing strikes but Zenji manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Horrible takedown by Rayson or perhaps it was just good defense by Pitbull which made him look bad. Rayson punishes Pitbull's body with a nice straight punch. A combination from Pitbull does no damage. Pitbull slips under a jab. Rayson moves into the clinch successfully.

Pitbull tries to bum rush Rayson with a series of wild strikes but Rayson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pitbull misses the shot to the body. Rayson throws a right and a left that both miss. Pitbull fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Rayson counters with a big head kick but Pitbull shrugs it off. Carlinho Pitbull is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rayson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pitbull rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rayson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pitbull misses with a combination
and Rayson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pitbull's guard now. Raysonis looking to pass into half guard but Pitbull pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Pitbull is in guard. Rayson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rayson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Pitbull is keeping the position for now. Pitbull is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rayson wants to sweep but Pitbull has passed to side control! You can see the frustration on Rayson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That was a close second round but I would say that Everaldo Manhoef will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters!
