0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vikram Bhular! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Woods! The judges for this bout are , and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bhular throws a nice outside leg kick. Bhular changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Woods tries to avoid it but Bhular manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Woods to the ground. Woods escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bhular shoots in for a double leg but Woods sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bhular looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vikram Bhular. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bhular throws a head kick that misses. Bhular shoots in for a double leg but Woods sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bhular looks for a takedown but Woods sprawls well. Bhular is breathing heavily. Bhular looks for a takedown but Woods sprawls well. Bhular throws a series of punches but Woods avoids them all with ease. Bhular wants to clinch up but Woods keeps it at a distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Bhular looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vikram Bhular seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Woods moves out of range of the body kick from Bhular.
Woods shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Woods was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Woods has hold of Bhular's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bhular manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Woods is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bhular can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Woods with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Woods has control of Bhular's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bhular regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Woods looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Woods working for a submission but Bhular is keeping him at bay. Woods takes Bhular's back. Woods is working for a rear naked choke. Bhular is not defending it well and Woods has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Bhular refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Bhular's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holden throws a right and a left that Barbosa avoids nicely. Barbosa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Barbosa looks gassed! Holden fails to land with a series of punches.
Holden throws a head kick but Barbosa moves out of range.
Barbosa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Barbosa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holden tries to buck Barbosa off but Barbosa takes his back! Holden looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Barbosa is cranking Holden's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Holden! He's tightened the choke and Holden is tapping out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henderson wants to clinch up but Tang keeps it at a distance. Henderson tries to clinch but Tang moves out of range. Henderson scores with a takedown into Tang's guard. Henderson working some strikes from top position. Tang striking off his back, scoring a few points. Tang throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Henderson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Henderson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Henderson wants to pass the guard but Tang is keeping the position. Tang looking for a guillotine here but Henderson defends easily.

Henderson tries to move to mount but Tang blocks the move with his legs. Henderson is putting a hurting on Tang here, landing some big shots from side control. Henderson wants to control but Tang is keeping him busy. Tang is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Henderson lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Tang actively working from the bottom here. Henderson prevents Tang from improving his position.

But no, Henderson has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Tang slips a nice elbow through Henderson's hands, connecting with Henderson's forehead. Tang winds up and cracks Henderson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Tang thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Henderson flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Henderson prevents Tang from getting the reversal. Wu Tang has got the better of the ground game so far. Henderson cracks Tang with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Henderson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tang's face.

Tang is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A helpless look comes across Tang 's face. He knows he's trapped as Henderson lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!

Jackson moves out of range of the leg kick from McGimp. McGimp shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than McGimp was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jackson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
