0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gary Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Darryl Ray! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ray misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lee, right into the meat.
Lee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ray to the mat! Ray manages to get full guard. Ray manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Lee pushes Ray up against the cage in a clinch. Ray tries to break the clinch but Lee is controlling the position. Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ray misses with a two punch combination.
Lee throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ray counters with a nice leg kick. Lee slips a jab and a cross from Ray.
Some bone on bone action there as Lee checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Lee throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ray connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lee works over Ray's head and body with a nice combination. Lee misses with a double jab.
Lee dodges the punch combination from Ray.
Ray throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lee counters by clinching up. Lee tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ray smiles and moves away.
Lee closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ray gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lee.
Ray is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Lee digs a right hand underneath Ray's ribcage. Ray let out a lung full of air as it connected. Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ray looks gassed! Lee fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's two minutes gone in the round. Ray tries to buck Lee off but he can't manage it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee is landing with some decent strikes but Ray is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Ray is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ray bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Ray gets to his feet - Lee follows without any prompting. Lee throws a series of punches but Ray avoids them all with ease. Ray gets caught flat footed, as Lee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lee advances to half guard. Ray wants to get back to his feet. Ray is not content to let Lee control the position. Ray is trying to stand back up but Lee is controlling him
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee is looking to take a break and control but Ray is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ray is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest. Lee is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ray is just riding it out for now. Lee eventually gives up the hold. Ray is trying to stand up here but Lee is controlling him well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ray swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lee clinches with his opponent.
Ray has had enough of the clinch but Lee keeps him there for the moment. Lee keeps control of Ray as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Lee can't get the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gary Lee will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Lee looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Lee working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Ray tries to kick Lee off in order to stand up. Lee Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Lee scores with punches from side control. Ray tries to bench press Lee off him but Lee keeps the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray pushes Lee away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lee gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Ray is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Ray sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Ray pushes Lee off looking to stand but Lee dives back in and keeps control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ray will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lee throws a quick inside leg kick. A right-left combo lands from Lee. Lee scores with a three punch combo!

Davis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Davis looks to score with a jab to the body but Breast is just out of range. Breast looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Davis misses with a few strikes there.

Breast tries to bum rush Davis with a series of wild strikes but Davis uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Davis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Breast will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Davis cracks Breast with a right hand to the side of the head. Breast lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Breast.
Davis is rocked! Davis throws a body punch but Breast moves out of range. Davis is still on wobbly legs! Can Breast finish him? Breast misses with a few strikes there.
Breast is breathing heavily. Breast throws a nice looking combination but Davis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Breast cracks Davis with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Davis tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Breast pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Davis is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buddy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Buddy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Buddy is breathing heavily. Base with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Base has a takedown stuffed. Buddy takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Base drives through and clinches with Buddy against the cage.

Base changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Buddy tries to avoid it but Base manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Buddy to the ground. Buddy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Base should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Buddy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Buddy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Base.
Buddy is rocked! Buddy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Base moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Oh Buddy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Base throws an overhand right that has Buddy reeling! Base follows up with a more punches and Buddy is out cold! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacReady tries for a takedown but Howard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. MacReady misses with a hook. MacReady swings for the body but Howard moves out of range.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Norton drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Norton tries to free his leg and advance position but Luongo is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Norton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Norton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Norton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luongo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Luongo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
