0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lyoto Machida! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Machida as Burns shoots in. Horrible takedown by Burns or perhaps it was just good defense by Machida which made him look bad. Burns fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quentin Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him. Burns throws a leg kick that misses. Burns slips a jab and a cross from Machida.
Machida throws a sloppy head kick and Burns moves out of range easily. Burns fails with the takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Burns. Burns fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Machida looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Machida misses with a few strikes there.
Machida misses with a jab, cross combination.
Machida throws a series of punches but Burns avoids them all with ease. Burns throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Machida's waist but Machida gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Burns off to one side. Burns is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A solid leg kick lands there for Machida.
Machida digs a good body shot into Burns's ribs. Machida lands with a nice body punch. Burns shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Burns shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Burns shoots in looking for a takedown. Machida tries to sprawl out of it but Burns keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Machida manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Machida stuffs the takedown attempt from Burns. Burns gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns misses with a takedown attempt - Machida sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Machida is looking to slow Burns down with leg kicks. Decent striking displayed by Machida there. Burns fails with a takedown attempt. Burns takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Machida! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swiftwater forces Boyeslav back against the cage and clinches. Swiftwater gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Boyeslav regains guard.
Swiftwater drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Swiftwater jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Swiftwater drops back looking for a leg! Boyeslav is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boyeslav manages to kick Swiftwater off! Swiftwater jumps back into Boyeslav's guard. Swiftwater makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Boyeslav is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Swiftwater is controlling him. Swiftwater wants to control from the top but Boyeslav keeps moving. Boyeslav is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Boyeslav keeping moving, preventing Swiftwater from controlling successfully. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Boyeslav is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swiftwater has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boyeslav can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Swiftwater throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Swiftwater keeping moving, preventing Boyeslav from controlling successfully. Swiftwater is looking for a triangle here but Boyeslav uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Boyeslav controls the position. Swiftwater tries to improve position but can't. Boyeslav wants to control but Swiftwater is keeping him busy. Swiftwater is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Boyeslav off and has taken his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Swiftwater is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boyeslav trying to control the position but Swiftwater manages to sink in the hooks. Swiftwater working for the choke. Swiftwater throws a series of strikes and Boyeslav wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here. Boyeslav is desperately trying to improve his position but Swiftwater has a good base and remains in mount. Swiftwater thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boyeslav is working to get back to half guard.
Swiftwater wants to take Boyeslav's back but he can't do it this time. Swiftwater goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Boyeslav turns into him and now he's in Swiftwater's guard.
Boyeslav has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Swiftwater is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyeslav trying to control the position from guard on top but Swiftwater is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boyeslav slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Swiftwater is looking to stand back up but Boyeslav counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Swiftwater. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Boyeslav trying to control the position but Swiftwater is working away. Swiftwater tries to bench press Boyeslav off him but Boyeslav keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Boyeslav wants to lay and pray for a moment but Swiftwater keeps working. Boyeslav lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Swiftwater down.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Swiftwater shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Boyeslav is looking to clinch but Swiftwater is avoiding it.
Swiftwater fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Boyeslav throws a solid leg kick but Swiftwater takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Boyeslav. Swiftwater clinches. Swiftwater escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Glenn Swiftwater dominated that round. That's time! Swiftwater's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Boyeslav tries to sprawl out of it but Swiftwater keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Swiftwater tries for a takedown but Boyeslav circles away easily and Boyeslav makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Boyeslav misses with a takedown attempt - Swiftwater sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Boyeslav moves in looking to clinch but Swiftwater pushes him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Boyeslav lands a nice hook to Swiftwater's body. Swiftwater takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Boyeslav throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Swiftwater. Swiftwater swings and misses with a shot to the body and Boyeslav counters with a lovely straight right hand! The fight stays on the outside here - Swiftwater looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Boyeslav throws a right and a left that both miss. Swiftwater checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Swiftwater misses with a takedown and Boyeslav counters with a straight right hand.

Swiftwater fails with the takedown and Boyeslav cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Decent striking displayed by Boyeslav there. Boyeslav scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Swiftwater takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A jab from Boyeslav finds it's way through Swiftwater's defenses. Boyeslav lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Swiftwater doesn't succeed with the takedown and Boyeslav counters with a thumping low kick. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Swiftwater tries for a takedown but Boyeslav circles away easily and Boyeslav connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vlad Boyeslav showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Swiftwater with a lazy takedown attempt and Boyeslav counters with a left to the body. Boyeslav works over Swiftwater's head and body with a nice combination. Boyeslav digs a good hook to Swiftwater's body.
Boyeslav throws out a powerful jab. Boyeslav shoots in for a double leg but Swiftwater sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Swiftwater gets a takedown into half guard. Boyeslav is staying active underneath Swiftwater, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Swiftwater is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Boyeslav is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyeslav wants to improve his position but Swiftwater is controlling well.
Boyeslav wants to control but Swiftwater is keeping busy and won't allow it. Swiftwater is tying to control. Boyeslav wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Swiftwater uses his free foot to push down on Boyeslav's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Boyeslav. Swiftwater tries to control but Boyeslav wriggling away. Boyeslav regains half guard. Boyeslav blocking the ground and pound attempt from Swiftwater. Swiftwater working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Boyeslav's thigh. Boyeslav counters though and makes it back to full guard. Boyeslav seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swiftwater working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Swiftwater is pushing down on Boyeslav's leg trying to pass to half guard. Boyeslav is fighting to maintain full guard but Swiftwater has managed to sneak the leg through. Boyeslav won't allow Swiftwater to pass to mount. Swiftwater slips a nice elbow through Boyeslav's hands, connecting with Boyeslav's forehead. Swiftwater wants to take a breather but Boyeslav is having none of it. Swiftwater seems to be working for a kimura but Boyeslav defends the submission attempt. Swiftwater seems to be looking for submissions.
Boyeslav is staying active underneath Swiftwater, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Swiftwater is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Swiftwater is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Swiftwater is looking for a kimura but Boyeslav is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Swiftwater to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyeslav wants to get back to full guard. Swiftwater trying to control from half guard but Boyeslav is working away. Swiftwater has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Swiftwater is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Boyeslav is surviving well by controlling Swiftwater's body position as best he can. Swiftwater avoids the attempt from Boyeslav to control. Swiftwater is working for a guillotine from mount but Boyeslav frees his head quite easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Swiftwater lands a nice shot to the head. Swiftwater wants to control the pace but Boyeslav is squirming around nicely. Swiftwater is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Boyeslav can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Boyeslav tries to get back to half guard but can't. Glenn Swiftwater overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Swiftwater is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Boyeslav has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Swiftwater jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Boyeslav is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Boyeslav and Swiftwater has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Boyeslav manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Swiftwater seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boyeslav does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Glenn Swiftwater showed his dominance in that final round. I think Swiftwater has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brilhamuitonocurintcha decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Brilhamuitonocurintcha throwing shots but Baron is blocking nicely. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Brilhamuitonocurintcha lands a nice short elbow. Baron really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brilhamuitonocurintcha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brilhamuitonocurintcha thows a huge punch but Baron dodges it nicely.

Baron tries to clinch up. Baron tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Brilhamuitonocurintcha fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronaldo Brilhamuitonocurintcha. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brilhamuitonocurintcha shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baron as he avoids it easily. Brilhamuitonocurintcha is breathing heavily. Baron tries to close the distance and clinch but Brilhamuitonocurintcha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A head kick by Baron - that's a beauty! Brilhamuitonocurintcha is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Baron can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Savas fails in his attempt to clinch. Joe Pogi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Savas clinches up against the cage. Pogi gets underhooks to prevent Savas's takedown attempt.

Pogi wants to clinch but Savas slips to the side and Savas counters with a head kick. That will keep Pogi thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Pogi darts in trying to clinch and Savas counters with a low kick, right behind Pogi 's knee. Pogi clinches. A short right from Pogi on the inside. Pogi drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Savas wants to stand but Pogi is controlling his posture from full guard. Pogi is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Savas is controlling him. Savas throwing strikes from guard but Pogi blocks nicely. Pogi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Still in the clinch, Pogi scores with a nice short uppercut. Pogi looks gassed! Pogi leaning against his opponent.

Pogi is looking to control Savas's arms but Savas gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pogi has his back to the cage. Savas tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pogi smiles and moves away.

Savas is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Pogi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Savas stands and steps away. Pogi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pogi throws a head kick that misses and Savas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pogi's guard now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Savas preventing the sweep. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pogi kicks Savas off and gets to his feet. Pogi keeps the fight on the outside. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damian Savas dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Pogi seems to be stalking Savas here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Savas drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smith drives through and clinches with Alves against the cage.
Alves tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Smith smiles and moves away.
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Smith connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Alves shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smith's guard. Alves trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Smith is looking to stand up but Alves isn't so interested in that idea. Alves drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Smith manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alves has Smith in his guard. Reeves shoots in and bounces Darnelczyk off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Reeves looking to pass the guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raper lands with an overhand left. Gionathan slips under a jab from Raper. Raper throws a jab but it's blocked by Gionathan.
