The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law is looking to clinch.
Marshall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Marshall fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Law sprawls well initially but Marshall persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Marshall uses his free foot to push down on Law's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Law.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A nice elbow there by Marshall.
Marshall lands a big shot there that rocks Law but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Law is rocked!
Marshall unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Law wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Marshall celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Peterson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarcoma shoots for a double leg takedown but Ur sprawls well. He's pushed Sarcoma's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Sarcoma drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Sarcoma wants to pass the guard but Ur is keeping the position.
Ur tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Ur working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sarcoma doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sarcoma manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Sarcoma really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ur escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sarcoma gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Sarcoma thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Ur had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sarcoma is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ur Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sarcoma's back instead.
Sarcoma tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ur wants to finish this one by submission but Sarcoma is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ur.
Sarcoma is looking to get to half guard.

Ur has hold of Sarcoma's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sarcoma manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Sarcoma is controlling an arm, preventing Ur from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Sarcoma has his foot on Ur's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ur works his way back into a safe position though.
Sarcoma is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ur drops back looking for a leg! Sarcoma is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sarcoma manages to kick Ur off! Ur jumps back into Sarcoma's guard.

Sarcoma is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Ur drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ur jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Ur passes easily into side control. Nice work.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ur is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sarcoma has escaped the position, nice work there.

Ur thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Ur seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
