Pirozzi throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Penn colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Pirozzi as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Penn is left battered and dazed whilst Pirozzi and his camp cheer!

Powell drops back, looking for a kneebar! Vasquez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Vasquez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Vasquez!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vasquez explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Powell feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reed Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pit Jonson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jonson's choice of entrance music: Rays On Pinion, Baroness. Pit Jonson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
