2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sucou Bomberman! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bomberman looks to land a combination but McSofterson avoids it well. McSofterson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. McSofterson avoids the head kick by Bomberman.
McSofterson misses with a kick to the body.
Bomberman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McSofterson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McSofterson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bomberman throws a push kick but McSofterson slaps the foot to one side. Bomberman shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. No joy there for Bomberman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bomberman needs to keep his hands up - McSofterson had a free shot at his head there. McSofterson throws a big shot that misses. Bomberman is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McSofterson. Bomberman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A punch combination from McSofterson misses. Bomberman throws a sloppy head kick and McSofterson moves out of range easily. Bomberman showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McSofterson.
Bomberman tries to clinch up. Bomberman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McSofterson tries to avoid it but Bomberman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McSofterson to the ground. McSofterson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McSofterson's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and McSofterson duly obliges. Bomberman misses with a body kick. Bomberman staying out of range there. Bomberman throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Bomberman moves in looking to clinch but McSofterson pushes him off. Sucou Bomberman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fight stays on the outside here - Bomberman looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McSofterson lands a nice looking body shot.

Bomberman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McSofterson finds it's way round the side to connect with Bomberman's head. McSofterson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bomberman. McSofterson connects with a single shot there. Bomberman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. McSofterson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimura shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barg pinned against the cage. Barg gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. No joy there for Kimura, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kimura has a takedown stuffed. Kimura shoots in for a takedown but Barg shows good takedown defense. Wayne Barg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Masahiko Kimura. Barg fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barg tries to get out of the position. Barg is breathing heavily. Kimura is looking for a kimura but Barg is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kimura to get the leverage. Kimura is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Kimura is working for a guillotine from mount but Barg frees his head quite easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dali throws a right and a left that Coxwell avoids nicely. Salvador Dali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Coxwell slips under a jab. Dali avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Coxwell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dali looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Coxwell fails to land with a series of punches.
Coxwell displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dali throws out the jab. A clash of legs there as Dali blocks the low kick. Coxwell takes a shot right to the bread basket. Coxwell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dali. Dali showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Coxwell.
Dali scores with a jab to the body. Coxwell wants to land a leg kick but Dali is out of range. Dali shoots for a double leg takedown but Coxwell sprawls well. He's pushed Dali's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dali ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Coxwell moves away. Coxwell throws a series of punches but Dali moves out of range. Dali falls off balance throwing a combination
and Coxwell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Rush lands a nice leg kick that just misses Turska's sensitive parts. Turska will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rush looks to land a right hand but Turska moved out of range. Rush cracks Turska with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Rush connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Turska shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rush as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeppe Turska. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turska looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Rush wants to control but Turska is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Turska is keen to just control but Rush is a slippery customer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rush has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Turska is working away from the top position though. Turska wants to control but Rush is keeping him busy. Turska tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rush knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Turska shoots in but no luck this time. Rush with a nice cross. Turska ducks under a wild hook from Rush. Turska shoots for a takedown but Rush saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Turska. A big right from Rush misses. Turska closes the distance and clinches up with Rush, looking for a takedown. Turska pushes Rush against the cage but Rush circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rush keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Turska is breathing heavily. Rush throws a big shot that misses. Turska feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rush is on top in guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Wood throws the left hand but Marak avoids the punch easily. Wood misses with an uppercut. Marak uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wood. Wood misses the jab. Marak takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wood scores a takedown into full mount! Marak tries to reverse the position but Wood maintains control. Marak in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Marak really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
