The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dengel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says LaMotta as he avoids it easily.

Dengel is backing up but LaMotta catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Dengel covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! LaMotta Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conda shoots in but Cullen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Cullen lands a slapping body shot.
Cullen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cullen blocks a head kick by Conda.
Horrible takedown by Conda or perhaps it was just good defense by Cullen which made him look bad.
Nice sprawl there from Cullen as Conda shoots in.

Conda looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cullen is fending him off so far but Conda persists. Nope, Cullen circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Conda shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cullen pinned against the cage. Cullen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Cullen throws a combination. Conda tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Cullen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Conda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cullen tries to avoid it but Conda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cullen to the ground. Cullen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cullen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cullen stuffs the takedown attempt from Conda. Conda gets slowly back to his feet.
Conda shoots for a double leg takedown but Cullen sprawls well. He's pushed Conda's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cullen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Isaac Cullen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Conda is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cullen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Conda tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Conda has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Conda is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cullen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cullen can do anything to dispel that myth.

Conda has an Americana. Cullen didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Conda is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Conda hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Griffith fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Slater on the side of the head.
Griffith dances in with a quick combination. Slater is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Griffith snaps Slater's head back. Slater stumbles backwards against the cage. Griffith steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Slater's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Slater just didn't come prepared.

Davis seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yaazzout wants to improve his position but Davis is controlling well.

Davis lands with a big right hook that stumbles Yaazzout - he's out on his feet here! Davis follows up with another monster hook that separates Yaazzout from consciousness! Yaazzout falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Davis stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
