Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Bacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Cullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bacon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Scissors For Lefty - Softly The Sea Swallows The Sun.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bacon clinches with his opponent.
Bacon decides to pull guard. Bacon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Cullen trying to control the position from guard on top but Bacon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cullen throws a big right hand that misses. Cullen trying to control but Bacon is working from the bottom.
Bacon working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cullen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cullen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bacon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cullen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bacon throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Cullen escapes and throws Bacon's legs to the side, diving into side control! Bacon tries to improve position but can't. Bacon gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Bacon wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Cullen.
Bacon sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Cullen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bacon keeps working.

Cullen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bacon is just riding it out for now. Cullen eventually gives up the hold. Cullen looks gassed! Bacon tries to get to full guard but Cullen has control of the leg.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bacon is working hard here to advance position. Cullen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Bacon wants to improve his position but Cullen is controlling well.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Cullen stuffs the takedown attempt from Bacon. Bacon gets slowly back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bacon shoots for a double leg takedown but Cullen sprawls well. He's pushed Bacon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Matt Bacon will probably get the nod. That's time! Bacon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A close second round but Ryan Cullen will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mercado rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Booga moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mercado throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Booga misses with a takedown attempt - Mercado sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mercado throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Booga sees it coming and avoids it easily. Mercado has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mercado there as he acknowledges the shot. Mercado fails with an attempt to clinch.
