The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alves tries to clinch up but Tamble circles away and keeps his distance. Tamble throws a series of punches but Alves moves out of range. Tamble throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tamble throws a sloppy head kick and Alves moves out of range easily. Alves tries to bum rush Tamble with a series of wild strikes but Tamble uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tamble misses with a series of wild punches.

Tamble looks for a takedown but Alves sprawls well. Tamble throws a series of punches but Alves avoids them all with ease. Tamble shoots in but no luck this time. Tamble misses with a double jab
and Alves counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Tamble is breathing heavily. Alves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Alves advances position into side control! Tamble is trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alves wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Tamble, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alves is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tamble has escaped the position, nice work there. Alves in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Tamble is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tron clinches with his opponent.

Tron tries to work over Cube's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Cube using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Cube tries to land knees in the clinch but Tron avoids the damage to the body. Cube tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tron smiles and moves away.
Tron feints and as Cube raises his hands in defense, Tron changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Tron is breathing heavily. Cube is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Tron wants to pass the guard but Cube is keeping the position. Tron throws a big right hand that misses. Tron in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Tron preventing the sweep. Cube is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Cube goes for an armbar but Tron turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Tron. Cube utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Cube pulls Tron in close to prevent any damage. Tron forces his way into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tron prevents Cube from improving his position. Tron passes to side control. Cube tries to improve position but can't. Tron is looking to take a break and control but Cube is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tron tries to move to mount but Cube blocks the move with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cube regains half guard there - taking advantage of Tron's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Tron is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Cube slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Cube wants to improve his position but Tron is controlling well.

Tron is keen to just control but Cube is a slippery customer. Cube is pressing down on Tron's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Cube is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cube keeping moving, preventing Tron from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tron gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Cube misses with a takedown attempt and Tron counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Tron works his way into full mount! Cube is looking to improve his position but Tron isn't that keen on the idea. Tron with a couple of short strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tron looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Tron prevents Cube from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shaq Tron dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Tron shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cube's guard. Cube looking for a sweep. Not yet Cube, not yet. Cube looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tron wants to get back to his feet but Cube is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Tron looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cube is one step ahead there. Tron manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cube manages to get himself to full guard.
Tron wants to control from the top but Cube keeps moving. Cube is looking for a triangle but Tron pushes his legs off easily.
Cube working for submissions but it's allowed Tron to get to half guard.
Tron winds up and cracks Cube with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cube tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Cube makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cube. Cube had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tron is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cube Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tron's back instead. Tron preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Cube. Tron tries to escape the position.
Cube lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cube's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cube is pressing down on Tron's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Tron trying to control the position from guard on top but Cube is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tron stopping the sweep attempt from Cube. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ice Cube showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Cube has his takedown stuffed and Tron counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Tron wants to free his trapped foot but Cube is holding on for dear life with his legs. Cube has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tron is working away from the top position though. Tron stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Tron fails to land the takedown. Cube loads up on a big right hand but Tron slips the punch. Cube shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Cube has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Tron defend it? Cube steps over the head and cranks it - Tron is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Cube!

Springfield kicks earth off and gets back to his feet. Springfield tries to clinch up but earth circles away and keeps his distance. earth swats away the attempt to clinch by Springfield. earth fails with a takedown attempt. earth shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Springfield as he avoids it easily. Springfield tries to clinch but earth moves out of range. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Writer tries a low kick but DaMennis avoids it. DaMennis catches Writer with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! DaMennis tries to clinch up. DaMennis takes a jab right on the kisser.
DaMennis moves in looking to clinch but Writer pushes him off. DaMennis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. JR Writer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DaMennis ducks under a wild hook from Writer. DaMennis moves out of range of the body kick from Writer.
Writer throws a right hand that DaMennis ducks under and follows up with a left that DaMennis also avoids with ease. Nice takedown defense from Writer. No joy for DaMennis on that attempt. Writer takes a swing at DaMennis's ribcage but misses. DaMennis blocks a head kick by Writer.
DaMennis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Writer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Writer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Writer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. DaMennis tries to clinch there but Writer circles away.
Writer throws out a loose jab but DaMennis uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Writer stuffs the takedown attempt from DaMennis. DaMennis gets slowly back to his feet. JR Writer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis DaMennis. Writer lands a jab-cross combination.
DaMennis is rocked! Writer clinches but DaMennis breaks the clinch and DaMennis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. DaMennis slips under a jab. The fighters circling - Writer throws out the jab but it was never going to land. DaMennis avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A choreographed right hand from Writer misses the target. DaMennis falls off balance throwing a combination
and DaMennis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Writer swings away with a leg kick that misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Writer.

and DaMennis counters with a nice double leg into guard. Writer is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. DaMennis tries to free his leg and advance position but Writer is retaining full guard. Writer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in DaMennis's guard. DaMennis is trying to keep Writer in close.
DaMennis looking for a sweep. Not yet DaMennis, not yet. DaMennis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Writer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. DaMennis looking for a guillotine here but Writer defends easily.

Sims staying out of range there. Silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Silva tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Silva. Silva swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Sims moves out of range easily. Silva looks to land a combination but Sims avoids it well. Silva takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Sims connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Sims looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sims has closed the distance and engaged Silva in a clinch.
Sims has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Silva uses from the top position. Sims looking for a guillotine here but Silva defends easily.

Sims stalks Silva and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Silva's face. Silva staggers backwards, shaken. Silva throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Sims stumbling backwards into the cage! Sims bounces back off the cage towards Silva, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Silva lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Silva celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
