0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rorny Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ty Voros! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie throws a chopping leg kick but Voros manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Voros ducks under a wild hook from Gracie. Gracie misses with a few strikes there.
A jab from Gracie misses. Gracie avoids the head kick by Voros.
Voros shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gracie as he avoids it easily. Voros avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gracie cracks Voros with an open hand slap. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie looks for the body kick but Voros saw that one coming. Voros tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Voros moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Voros shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gracie pinned against the cage. Gracie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Voros blocks a jab. Gracie does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Voros slips a straight right by Gracie. A head kick misses from Voros. Voros moves out of range as Gracie strikes. Gracie has his takedown stuffed and Voros counters with a shoot takedown. Gracie fights it but they end up in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Voros would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gracie keeping busy on the bottom but Voros has passed one foot through into half guard.
Well, if Voros is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gracie is trying to get back to full guard. Voros wants to pass the guard but Gracie is defending well. Voros tries to stand but can't do so whilst Gracie controls his leg. Voros trying to control the action but Gracie is working from the bottom. Voros throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Voros performing his best blanket impression for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ty Voros dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Voros is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.
Voros throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily. Voros pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gracie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie throws a leg kick but Voros sees it coming and moves out of range. A choreographed right hand from Gracie misses the target.

and Voros counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Voros passes into half guard.
Voros missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Voros passes the guard and advances to mount! Voros really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Voros looking for a guillotine from mount but Gracie is having none of it. Gracie is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie reaches up to try and control the position but Voros seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Gracie rolls and tries to escape and now Voros has his back!
Voros has the hooks in. Gracie is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Voros slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Gracie wants to control his opponent's hands but Voros gets his hands free. Gracie defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Voros's arms. Voros trying to control. Voros is working the ground and pound. Can Gracie escape?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Voros has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Gracie's body.
Gracie rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Gracie wants to get back to full guard. Voros wants to pass the guard but Gracie is defending well. Gracie wants to get back to full guard. Gracie actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Voros scoring with strikes to the body and head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gracie tries to get to full guard but Voros has control of the leg. Gracie won't allow Voros to pass to mount.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Voros throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Voros closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Voros lands in his opponent's guard. Voros tries to stand but Gracie is controlling from the bottom. Voros stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ty Voros showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Voros drives through with a takedown into guard. Voros passes Gracie's left leg - he's now in half guard. Voros lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Gracie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Voros is working away from the top position though. Voros throws a strike but Gracie avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Voros is looking to stand up but Gracie won't let him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Voros pushes down on Gracie's leg and manages to get into half guard. Gracie works his way to full guard. Good work. Ty Voros has got the better of the ground game so far. Voros is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Voros must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Voros trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gracie's guard. Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Voros works a leg free and moves into half guard. Voros trying to pass the guard but Gracie defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Voros wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Voros with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Gracie tries to roll over but Voros keeps him under control. Gracie gets back to full guard.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Voros from controlling successfully. Gracie is trying to keep Voros in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Voros passes Gracie's left leg - he's now in half guard. Gracie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Voros's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Voros's back! Voros is keeping busy.
Rorny Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Voros fending off the submission attempt from Gracie. Gracie is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Voros has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Voros is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Gracie off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Voros tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Voros trying desperately to get to his feet.
Gracie throws some wild stikes that Voros manages to avoid easily.
Voros working to try and regain half guard.
Gracie misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Gracie is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Voros can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Gracie prevents Voros from getting the reversal.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rorny Gracie. Well Voros has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machado circles away from the clinch attempt.
Machado scores a takedown into full mount! Machado prevents Ventura from getting the reversal. Machado with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Ventura is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Ventura tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ventura wants to hold on but Machado pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Machado is working for a guillotine from mount but Ventura frees his head quite easily.

But Ventura has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ventura! Ventura trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Ventura with a flurry of punches that miss. Machado looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ventura stands up from guard. Let's bang! Ventura throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Machado sees it coming and avoids it easily. Machado misses with a body kick.

Ventura clinches up with Machado and pushes him back against the cage. Machado is looking to break free of the clinch but Ventura has double underhooks. Ventura lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Ventura breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Machado shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Machado is breathing heavily. Ventura looking to hit a scissor sweep but Machado is one step ahead there. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ventura manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Machado manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machado is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Machado scores to the head and body with a nice combination! The crowd cheers as Ventura lands an impressive looking overhand right. Machado doesn't seem phased though. Machado closes the distance looking to clinch and Ventura counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Ventura connects with a solid leg kick. Ventura is breathing heavily. Ventura missing with a left hand there. Machado was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Machado avoids the body shot from Ventura.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ventura thows a body shot but no joy. Machado fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Murilo Machado. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ventura misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A combination from Machado does no damage. Ventura keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Machado fails with the takedown so Ventura counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Ventura wanted to stand there but Machado had control of the position. Machado is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Ventura frees his head nicely. Oh but Machado has switched to an armbar! Ventura is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bryan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Crimson darts in and clinches Bryan up against the cage. Crimson breaks the clinch.
Crimson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bryan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Crimson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bryan. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Crimson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bryan to the mat! Bryan manages to get full guard. Bryan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crimson wanted to stand there but Bryan had control of the position. Bryan looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Crimson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Bryan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bryan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Crimson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Bryan wants to improve his position but Crimson is controlling well.

Oh, Crimson has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Bryan tries to improve position but can't. Bryan takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Bryan tries to bench press Crimson off him but Crimson keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Crimson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bryan keeps working. Bryan looks to move to half guard but instead Crimson has passed into mount! Damn! Bryan tries to improve his position but instead Crimson has taken his back! Bryan is trying to break free.
Bryan is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Crimson.

Fresh Crimson dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bryan has his takedown stuffed and Crimson counters with a shoot takedown. Bryan fights it but they end up in guard. Bryan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crimson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crimson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Crimson wants to control from the top but Bryan keeps moving. Bryan isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Crimson stacks Bryan on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Crimson! Bryan trying to remain calm as Crimson controls from the top position. Crimson advances nicely into full mount. Bryan is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bryan sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Crimson prevents Bryan from improving his position. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bryan has eaten all the pies! Bryan is not content to let Crimson control the position. Bryan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Bryan throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Crimson escapes and throws Bryan's legs to the side, diving into side control! Bryan is not content to let Crimson control the position. Crimson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bryan on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bryan is looking to regain half guard here but Crimson keeps moving and retains side control. Crimson gets to mount! Bryan was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Bryan tries to improve his position but instead Crimson has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bryan breaks Crimson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Bryan looking to improve position, pressing down on Crimson's thigh with his hand. Crimson seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Bryan paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Bryan's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Crimson picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!

Compton looks to land a right hand but Flair moved out of range. Compton swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Flair walks into a straight right hand from Compton.
It looks like Ric Flair has been cut. Compton misses with a two punch combination.
Compton misses with a head kick.
Compton lands a head kick that stumbles Flair and the fighters go to the mat.
Flair is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Compton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Flair, up you get! Oh Flair is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Compton fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Flair fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Flair seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Compton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice sprawl there from Compton as Flair shoots in. Flair closes this distance looking for a takedown but Compton circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ric Flair. That's going to take a lot out of him. Flair is breathing heavily. Flair wants to clinch. Compton drops Flair with a huge uppercut! Flair drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Compton is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anderson Degan! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Degan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Degan misses with a hook from the clinch. Degan prevents Leroy from breaking the clinch. Leroy blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Leroy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Degan has him pressed against the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Degan just misses with a elbow thrown towards Leroy's brow. Leroy breaks from the clinch.
Degan is looking to clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Leroy has had enough of the clinch but Degan keeps him there for the moment. Leroy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Degan. Degan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Leroy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Anderson Degan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leroy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Degan, pushing him back against the cage. Leroy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Leroy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Leroy ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Leroy throws a series of strikes that have Degan backpedaling.
Leroy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Degan momentarily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Leroy, right into the meat.
Degan closes the distance but Leroy moves to the side enabling Leroy to counter with a crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Leroy lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That's one minute gone in the round. Leroy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Leroy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Leroy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Degan throws a sloppy body shot
and Leroy counters with a thumping low kick. Degan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Leroy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Degan darts in trying to clinch and Leroy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Degan thinking. Leroy throws a quick inside leg kick. Leroy connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Degan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Leroy sees it coming and avoids it easily. Degan tries to close the distance and clinch but Leroy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Leroy scores with a punch to the head.
Degan is rocked! Degan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Leroy counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Degan has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bruce Leroy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morgan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Johnson. Morgan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnson circles away. Morgan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Johnson pinned against the cage. Johnson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Morgan shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Captain Morgan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Johnson lands a head kick. Morgan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Captain Morgan has been cut. Morgan tries to clinch there but Johnson circles away.
Morgan scores with a punch to the head. Johnson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Morgan looks to move to half guard but instead Johnson has passed into mount! Damn! Johnson controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is standing up, even though he is in mount. Morgan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Morgan shoots and misses and Johnson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Morgan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Morgan jumps guard but Johnson stands there with Morgan around his waist. Morgan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Morgan wants to break free but Johnson has control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Morgan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Johnson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Morgan's guard now. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson won't allow Morgan to sweep him here. Morgan isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Johnson stacks Morgan on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Johnson! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Morgan sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Morgan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Morgan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Morgan working for submissions but it's allowed Johnson to get to half guard.
Morgan is breathing heavily. Morgan tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Morgan looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morgan looking for submissions off his back. Johnson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Morgan. And that's the end of the fight! James Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
