1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerome McCool! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! jojo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. McCool avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
jojo with a body punch. A glancing blow. jojo fails miserably with a takedown attempt. jojo lands a slapping body shot.
Horrible takedown by McCool or perhaps it was just good defense by jojo which made him look bad. jojo is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jerome McCool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. jojo ducks down and throws a hook to the body. jojo shoots in but McCool avoids the takedown attempt easily. McCool throws an overhand right that lands on jojo's shoulder, as jojo tries to avoid the shot. McCool circles away from the clinch attempt.

and jojo counters by clinching up. McCool drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

jojo lands a shot to the body. McCool drops down looking for an ankle pick but jojo pulls his leg out and moves away.
jojo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McCool sprawls well initially but jojo persists and gets the takedown into half guard. jojo is breathing heavily. McCool moves into full guard.
McCool pulls jojo in close to his closed guard and prevents jojo from doing any damage or advancing position. McCool looking to hit a scissor sweep but jojo is one step ahead there. McCool bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in jojo's guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. McCool is pushing down on jojo's leg trying to pass to half guard. jojo is fighting to maintain full guard but McCool has managed to sneak the leg through. McCool takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. McCool uses his free foot to push down on jojo's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for jojo. McCool content just to control the position here. McCool fails to advance to jojo's back. McCool controlling the pace for now.

McCool stands up from mount. Strange move.
McCool scores with a takedown into jojo's guard. McCool controlling from the top position. jojo lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for McCool! jojo raining down shots from the mount! McCool really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
jojo tries to control but McCool wriggling away.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. jojo lands a heavy elbow. jojo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McCool is looking to escape. A nice elbow there by jojo. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCool is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. jojo controlling from the full mount. jojo trying to control but McCool is having none of it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McCool is desperately trying to improve his position but jojo has a good base and remains in mount. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that scott jojo will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

jojo cracks McCool with a nice body shot. McCool tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. jojo smiles and moves away.

McCool bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in jojo's guard. McCool controls from within his opponent's guard. jojo looking for a sweep. Not yet jojo, not yet. McCool stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. jojo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. jojo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
jojo looking to hit a scissor sweep but McCool is one step ahead there. Jerome McCool has got the better of the ground game so far.
McCool gets to his feet - jojo follows without any prompting. jojo wants to clinch up but McCool keeps it at a distance. McCool shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with jojo but jojo pushes him off and we're back to square one. jojo fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. McCool with a poor takedown and jojo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McCool shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McCool showed some decent athleticism there. McCool stalling.

McCool is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! jojo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! YourLuck closes the distance and clinches up with Fade, looking for a takedown. YourLuck pushes Fade against the cage but Fade circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! YourLuck fails with a takedown attempt. Fade with a body punch. A glancing blow. YourLuck shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fade as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pushing YourLuck. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fade ducks under a wild hook from YourLuck. YourLuck walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Fade throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends YourLuck stumbling backwards into the cage! YourLuck bounces back off the cage towards Fade, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Fade lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Fade celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

I looks like Balboa might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Balboa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. TYSON throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ray shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jones pinned against the cage. Jones gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Ray's shoulder, as Ray tries to avoid the shot. Some wild striking there from Jones.
Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
 It looks like Hickson Ray has been cut. Jones connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Ray tumbling to the canvas! Jones pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Ray was done - good stoppage!

Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Youth swivels though and keeps the full guard. Johnson trying to control but Youth is working from the bottom. Youth looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there.

Let's hope that Youth has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
