The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Westwood as Carnvu shoots in. Westwood closes the distance and clinches. Carnvu tries to pull guard but Westwood won't allow it.
Westwood breaks from the clinch.
Carnvu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Westwood but Westwood pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Welland Carnvu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Westwood will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A punch combination from Westwood misses. Chuck Westwood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Westwood throws a series of punches but Carnvu avoids them all with ease. Carnvu scores a takedown into full mount! Carnvu avoids the attempt from Westwood to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carnvu swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Westwood is now in Carnvu's guard. A big mistake from Carnvu there, giving up the dominant position! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Westwood gets to his feet. Carnvu looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Carnvu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Carnvu lands in his opponent's guard. Carnvu is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Westwood has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carnvu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Carnvu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Westwood controlling the position. Westwood manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Westwood looking to control and managing it successfully. Carnvu slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Westwood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carnvu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Westwood lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Westwood controlling the pace. Westwood is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Westwood seems to be looking for submissions.
Carnvu wants to improve his position but Westwood is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carnvu gets back to full guard.
Carnvu has his foot on Westwood's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Westwood works his way back into a safe position though. Westwood thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Westwood is looking to stand up but Carnvu won't let him. Westwood must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Carnvu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Westwood is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Westwood stands up and waves to Carnvu to follow him. Westwood throws a shot to the body.
Westwood lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Carnvu falls backwards - clearly groggy! Westwood dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Elijah Vaagen had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Vaagen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Vaagen moves out of range of the body kick. Russel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Russel lands a big head kick that sends Vaagen to the canvas! Russel follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodriguez fails in his attempt to clinch. Antti Isotalo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Isotalo shoots in looking for a takedown. Rodriguez tries to sprawl out of it but Isotalo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rodriguez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Isotalo doesn't manage to clinch there - Rodriguez circles away.

Rodriguez tries to close the distance and clinch but Isotalo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Isotalo keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Isotalo. Rodriguez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Isotalo darts in trying to clinch and Rodriguez counters with a takedown into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rodriguez tries for a kimura but Isotalo is defending well. Rodriguez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rodriguez moves into full mount! Isotalo tries to hold on but Rodriguez pushes him away. Isotalo keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rodriguez avoids the attempt from Isotalo to control. Rodriguez goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Isotalo turns into him and now he's in Rodriguez's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rodriguez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rodriguez looking for a triangle here. Isotalo is fighting it but it looks tight! Rodriguez pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Isotalo is tapping out - this one is all over!

Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Metalius slips nicely into half guard. Metalius is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Metalius content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Metalius throwing shots but Sandtracker is blocking nicely.

Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Metalius get's back to his feet. Metalius shoots in and bounces Sandtracker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Metalius pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sandtracker is keeping the position for now. Metalius wants to control from the top but Sandtracker keeps moving. Sandtracker wants to get back to his feet but Metalius is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Metalius stays in close to Sandtracker's body and controls the position.

Metalius shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Metalius showed some decent athleticism there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Metalius seems content to control. Metalius is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sandtracker defends it well. Metalius is figuring out what he wants to do next. Metalius works his way into full mount! Metalius content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's better than Metalius was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Metalius prevents Sandtracker from getting the reversal. Sandtracker is squirming around, avoiding Metalius's attempts to control the action. Metalius is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sandtracker can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Metalius wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Metalius sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Mauricius Metalius has got the better of the ground game so far. Metalius wants to control the pace but Sandtracker is squirming around nicely. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Metalius takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Sandtracker is staying active underneath Metalius, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Metalius looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Metalius has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Metalius is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sandtracker can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Metalius closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Metalius in side control, just content to control the action for now. Metalius has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Sandtracker throws a body punch but Metalius moves out of range. Metalius throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sandtracker's waist but Sandtracker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Metalius off to one side. Thotiln Sandtracker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mauricius Metalius. Nice sprawl there from Sandtracker as Metalius shoots in. Horrible takedown by Metalius or perhaps it was just good defense by Sandtracker which made him look bad. Sandtracker tries for a takedown but Metalius circles away easily and Metalius counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Metalius pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sandtracker is keeping the position for now. Metalius working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Metalius drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Metalius trying to control the action but Sandtracker is working from the bottom. Metalius stands up and beckons Sandtracker to his feet. Metalius closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Sandtracker is looking to break free of the clinch but Metalius has double underhooks. Sandtracker managing to block the knees to the body from Metalius.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Metalius jumps guard but Sandtracker stands there with Metalius around his waist. Metalius gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Metalius. Metalius drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Metalius advances to full mount. Metalius tries to control but Sandtracker wriggling away. Metalius is stalling here but it's allowed Sandtracker to get half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Metalius sitting and controlling from the half guard. Metalius tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sandtracker controls his leg. Metalius wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sandtracker keeps working. Metalius controlling the action here. Thotiln Sandtracker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Despite being in the dominant position, Mauricius Metalius just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Metalius fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sandtracker.
And that's the end of the fight! Mauricius Metalius comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Metalius has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Daisoo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Umpilumpio wants to sweep but no luck. Daisoo is standing up over Umpilumpio. Umpilumpio looks to escape but Daisoo dives into side control.
