The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Unk slips a jab and a cross from Snider.
Unk is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Snider throws a series of punches but Unk avoids them all with ease. Unk closes the distance and clinches. Snider is trying to break the clinch but Unk has him pressed against the cage. Unk missing with knees to the body.

I think Allday might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wu-Tang Clan - Bring Da Ruckus. st nkoi has chosen number one as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allday fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Allday misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Allday shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cassius Allday. That's going to take a lot out of him. st nkoi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Allday counters with a nice double leg into half guard. st nkoi regains full guard. Nicely done. st nkoi tries to land a sweep but no joy. Allday wants to control from the top but st nkoi keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. st nkoi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. st nkoi will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. st nkoi is refusing to be controlled, as Allday sits in half guard.

No chance. george st nkoi has got the better of the ground game so far. Allday keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of st nkoi's head. st nkoi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back. st nkoi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Allday! st nkoi cracks Allday with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Azh keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lyoton. Lyoton keeps Azh at a distance using the push kick. A combination from Lyoton does no damage. Nice takedown defense from Lyoton. No joy for Azh on that attempt. Azh moves out of range of the strikes. Lyoton throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Azh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Lyoton swinging wilding here.
A punch combination from Lyoton misses. Azh ducks straight into an uppercut from Lyoton and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Azh maanges to regain guard straight away.
Azh is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lyoton trying to stand up but can't free himself from Azh's guard. Oh Azh is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Eel wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him. Johnson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Eel looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Eel looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Eel! Johnson manages to work his way to half guard, despite Eel's best efforts. Johnson works his way to full guard. Good work. Johnson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Eel doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Johnson is tightening it up a little... Eel has to be careful here... Betlach cracks Ortiz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Betlach scores with a nice head shot. Ortiz ducks right into an uppercut from Betlach. A jab from Betlach finds it's way through Ortiz's defenses. Ortiz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Betlach counters with a series of strikes. Ortiz will be more careful next time no doubt. Ortiz is rocked! Betlach gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Oh Ortiz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ortiz letting Betlach take a breather here. Ortiz seems to have got his legs back now. Betlach pushes Ortiz back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Ortiz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Betlach uses from the top position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Betlach trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ortiz's guard. Betlach has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ortiz tries for a takedown but Betlach circles away easily letting Betlach counter with a right hand.

and Ortiz counters with a single leg into guard. Betlach didn't expect that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Betlach wants to sweep here but Ortiz controlling him for the moment. Austin Barnett showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Loconsole avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Loconsole tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Barnett counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Loconsole wants to get back to full guard. Well, if Barnett is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Barnett is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Loconsole doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Barnett. Barnett takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barnett throwing shots but Loconsole is blocking nicely. Loconsole knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barnett on the ground. Ground and pound from Barnett. Barnett is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Loconsole defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Loconsole avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Barnett. Barnett is working for a kimura but Loconsole is defending it quite comfortably.
Loconsole is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barnett tries to pass the half guard into mount. Loconsole knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Barnett has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Loconsole can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Barnett misses with a head shot. Loconsole blocking the ground and pound. Barnett working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Loconsole turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Barnett off and cradles Loconsole's limp body as Barnett celebrates with his corner.
