The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cummimg stuffs the takedown attempt from De carolis. De carolis gets slowly back to his feet. Cummimg is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cummimg circles away from the clinch attempt.
De carolis shoots in for a takedown but Cummimg shows good takedown defense. De carolis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cummimg! Cummimg wants to control but De carolis is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cummimg is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. De carolis goes for an armbar but Cummimg turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Cummimg. De carolis is breathing heavily. Cummimg controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. De carolis could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Cummimg pushes down on De carolis's leg and manages to get into half guard. De carolis wants to improve his position but Cummimg is controlling well.

Cummimg decides to return to a standing position. Cummimg cracks the inside of De carolis's front leg. Cummimg uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by De carolis.
De carolis is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Cummimg. De carolis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cummimg paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cummimg drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Cummimg content to stall in guard here. De carolis is working an open guard so Cummimg takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Nope, De carolis circles away and we're back to standing. De carolis misses with a takedown attempt - Cummimg sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Cummimg looks to land a combination. De carolis sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Cummimg closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

De carolis is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cummimg knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. De carolis creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Cummimg bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Mike De carolis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

De carolis walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Cummimg checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. De carolis misses with a takedown attempt and Cummimg makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. De carolis really felt that one! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike De carolis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Cummimg!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fontaine drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fontaine lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Fontaine throwing shots but missing, from side control. Fontaine works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Check out the look on Fontaine's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Catoure taking a bit of punishment here - Fontaine scoring with strikes. Fontaine wants to control but Catoure is keeping him busy. Catoure manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fontaine's best efforts. Catoure tries to kick Fontaine off but Fontaine keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Catoure is staying active underneath Fontaine, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Fontaine throws a strike but Catoure avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Fontaine must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fontaine wants to stand but Catoure has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Fontaine throws and elbow that misses. Catoure uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fontaine's guard. Nice move by Catoure! kent looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Mica lands with a slapping head kick. Mica tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mica looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A nice leg kick lands there from Mica. Mica throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Mica throws a nice outside leg kick. Mica lands a big head kick that sends kent to the canvas! Mica follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Pearce feints and as Win raises his hands in defense, Pearce changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Win escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pearce gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pearce drops back looking for a leg! Win is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Win manages to kick Pearce off! Pearce jumps back into Win's guard. Pearce thows a big elbow that misses. Win has momentary wrist control but Pearce slips an elbow through the middle. Win has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pearce can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Pearce missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Win has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Pearce doesn't defend quickly enough and Win has managed to lock this one up! Can Pearce escape?! NO! He's tapping out!
