Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
boyd is controlling an arm, preventing Silva from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
boyd has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Chew tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Roll paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Roll is trying to trip Chew. He has hold of a leg but Chew is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Roll persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Roll drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roll jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Roll stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chew swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Roll is working hard here to advance position.

Roll drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Roll seems to have locked his on tight now - Chew screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Roll, as he picks up the win!
