Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viper PG Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacob Page had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Viper PG Master has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

PG Master throws a half hearted mid kick.
Page really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Page shoots in and bounces PG Master off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Page is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but PG Master has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Page is looking to defend but PG Master has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Page! PG Master pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Page taps out and this one is all over!

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Kelly is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pearson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kelly.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Pearson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kelly is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Pearson will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kelly slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Pearson.
Well Pearson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
