2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike McDougal! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ferguson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McDougal.
Ferguson misses with a body kick. McDougal pushing out the jab but it's not landing. McDougal lands with a cross. Nice takedown defense from McDougal. No joy for Ferguson on that attempt. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Ferguson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McDougal. Ferguson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mike McDougal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferguson shoots in looking for a takedown. McDougal tries to sprawl out of it but Ferguson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McDougal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Ferguson. Horrible takedown by Ferguson or perhaps it was just good defense by McDougal which made him look bad. McDougal throws a hook to the side of Ferguson's head but Ferguson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ferguson throws a low kick but McDougal avoids it. A swing and a miss from McDougal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McDougal is looking to land body kicks. Ferguson moves out of range of the strikes. McDougal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ferguson staying out of range there. Ferguson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Ferguson shoots for a double leg takedown but McDougal sprawls well. He's pushed Ferguson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ferguson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and McDougal counters with a one-two to the body. A clash of legs there as Ferguson blocks the low kick. Ferguson slips under a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ferguson shoots and misses and McDougal counters with a solid body kick. Ferguson doesn't succeed with the takedown and McDougal counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. McDougal feints and then cracks Ferguson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ferguson down. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ferguson fails with the takedown and McDougal counters with an outside leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike McDougal showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Ferguson tries for a takedown but McDougal circles away easily and McDougal counters with a nice body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McDougal fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ferguson manages to avoid it. McDougal lands a high kick to the side of Ferguson's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! McDougal dives into guard, looking to finish. Oh Ferguson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDougal stands up from Ferguson's guard - McDougal perhaps looking for a knockout. Ferguson with a lazy takedown attempt and McDougal counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva fails with a takedown attempt. Readen throws a big shot that misses. Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Readen looking to control.
Silva is pushing down on Readen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Readen is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through. Readen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silva is working away from the top position though. Readen on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Silva trying to control from half guard but Readen is working away. Readen looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva wants to take a breather but Readen is having none of it. Silva is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Readen manages to get to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Readen is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Readen is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Silva had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Readen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Silva Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Readen's back instead. Readen trying to control the action but Silva just sinks the hooks in.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Readen is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Even with his hooks in, Silva manages to miss with strikes from the back. Silva wants to control but Readen is keeping busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Readen manages to reverse the position and now he's in Silva's guard. Nice work there by Readen.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Readen trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's going to take a lot out of Urijah Silva. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Readen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

I really don't envy Lancelot right now.

Fresco had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bibeau is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fresco Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bibeau's back instead. Fresco looking for the choke from the back. Bibeau refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Bibeau's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
