Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Jennings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arcturus Ulver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ulver has chosen Dunkelheit as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jennings throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jennings fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ulver checks it well.
Jennings lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ulver at a distance.
Jennings throws a looping overhand right but Ulver ducks down to avoid it.
Ulver uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jennings.
Ulver throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ulver drops his hands momentarily and Jennings takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jennings throws a leg kick which misses Ulver's front leg but catches the back leg as Ulver tries to avoid it.
Ulver sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Ulver had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jennings is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ulver Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jennings's back instead.
Jennings needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation.

Ulver is persistently looking for the submission but Jennings is defending it well.
