The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Krigelstein's waist but Krigelstein gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vera off to one side.

Vera closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Griffin throws a nice looking combination but Blitzer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Blitzer seems to have recovered his senses.

Griffin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Blitzer ducks right into an uppercut from Griffin.
Griffin connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Blitzer tumbling to the canvas! Griffin pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Blitzer was done - good stoppage!
