Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Infamous! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Burke! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Infamous does no damage. Burke circles away from the clinch attempt.
Michael Infamous seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Infamous throws a series of punches but Burke avoids them all with ease. Infamous rushes Burke and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Infamous misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Burke.
Infamous goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Infamous lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Infamous tightens his grip and picks Burke up, before dumping him to the ground. Burke manages to land in guard. Burke is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Infamous passes Burke's left leg - he's now in half guard. Infamous seems to be working for a kimura but Burke defends the submission attempt. Burke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Infamous tries to pass the half guard into mount. Burke knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Burke has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Infamous can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Infamous pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Burke is keeping the position for now. Infamous drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Infamous jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Burke had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Infamous is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Burke Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Infamous's back instead. Burke doesn't have the hooks in and Infamous manages to turn into his guard.
Infamous stopping the sweep attempt from Burke. Burke will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Infamous stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Burke swivels though and keeps the full guard. Infamous is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Infamous drops back, looking for a kneebar! Burke looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Burke looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Burke! Infamous sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Infamous is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Burke pulls his head out easily. Infamous is breathing heavily. Burke works his way into full mount! Infamous is trying to reverse the position but instead Burke has taken his back - oops! Burke is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Burke is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Infamous defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Infamous manages to reverse the position and now he's in Burke's guard. Nice work there by Infamous.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Infamous works a leg free and moves into half guard. Infamous seems to be looking for submissions.
Infamous is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Burke defends it well. Burke makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Burke. Infamous scoring with punches to the head and body. Burke punching from the bottom.

Infamous tries to pass the half guard into mount. Burke knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Burke is defending against the submission attempts here by Infamous.

He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Infamous works his way back into a safe position though. Infamous forces his way into half guard. Burke looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Infamous is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Burke sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. A punch combination from Infamous misses. Infamous wants to clinch.

Burke shoots in looking for a takedown. Infamous tries to sprawl out of it but Burke keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Infamous manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Burke takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Burke tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Infamous swivels and escapes. Burke looks for a takedown but Infamous sprawls well. Michael Infamous has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Burke. Burke takes a kick to the side of the head. Infamous closes the distance and clinches. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Infamous crunches a lovely knee into Burke's ribcage.

Infamous turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Infamous manages to end up in side control. Infamous is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Burke knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Infamous advances to full mount. Infamous working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Burke can't escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Infamous looking for a guillotine from mount but Burke is having none of it. Infamous putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Infamous is working for a submission of some sort.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Moore blocks a jab. Moore clinches up with Blair and pushes him back against the cage. Blair wants to get back to striking at distance but Moore won't allow it.

Moore is rocked! Blair drops Moore with a naaaaasty hook - Moore is in real trouble here! Blair dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pineapple throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Nathan King has been cut. Pineapple has his takedown stuffed and King decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pineapple's guard. King tries to stand but Pineapple is controlling from the bottom. King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pineapple swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King is fighting to break Pineapple's control of his arms but Pineapple is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. King wants to pass the guard but Pineapple is keeping the position.

Pineapple wants to sweep but no luck. Pineapple keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully. Pineapple is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pineapple tries to pass the half guard into mount. King knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. King is looking for a sweep. Pineapple is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pineapple is figuring out what he wants to do next.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Pineapple doesn't succeed with the takedown and King counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pineapple won't be happy with that. Pineapple struggling a bit here. King throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Pineapple is not content to let King control the position. You can see the frustration on Pineapple's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pineapple might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control King kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nathan King will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Nathan King's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

Pineapple misses with a hook. King ducked under it nicely. King fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nathan King. That's going to take a lot out of him. King throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pineapple's waist but Pineapple gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing King off to one side. Pineapple throws a nice looking combination but King bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pineapple has his takedown stuffed and King counters with a low kick, right behind Pineapple 's knee. Pineapple chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before King can pounce on him.
Pineapple throws a lazy head kick and King counters with a single leg into guard. Pineapple didn't expect that. Pineapple seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Billy Pineapple has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pineapple stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. King swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pineapple trying to control the position from guard on top but King is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pineapple.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot by Bristol. Bristol throws a right and a left that both miss. Demand misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bristol lands a jab to the nose. Bristol lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Demand is looking to score with low kicks. Crunch! Demand slams his shin into Bristol's torso. Demand takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bristol throws a right hand that Demand ducks under and follows up with a left that Demand also avoids with ease. Bristol looks for a takedown but Demand sprawls well. Bristol throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Demand. Sid Bristol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bristol misses with a double jab.

Bristol scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Demand staying out of range there. A shot to de liver by Bristol. Beautiful body shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wandor is trying to maintain the position but Boi is very close to passing his half guard. Boi is taking a breather. Wandor says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Wandor is looking for a sweep. Boi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Boi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Wandor is trying to get back to full guard. Boi wants to free his trapped foot but Wandor is holding on for dear life with his legs. Boi is tying to control. Wandor wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wandor connects with a solid leg kick. Boi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wandor. Wandor is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wandor seems to be looking for submissions.

Wandor might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Boi kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Nicke Wandor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Boi keeps the fight on the outside. A punch combination from Boi misses. Boi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Toby Boi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Wandor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boi paws at him with a jab and circles away. Boi tries to clinch and Wandor counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Boi breaks from the clinch.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Boi tries to get out of the position. Wandor makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boi looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Boi chips away with some ground and pound. Wandor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boi's guard.

Boi wanted to stand there but Wandor had control of the position. Wandor keeping full guard, as Boi tries to pass. Boi is looking to stand up but Wandor won't let him. Wandor had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Boi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wandor Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Boi's back instead. Boi rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Toby Boi. I think Boi has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herbert misses with a few strikes there.
Burlington Spatchcock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spatchcock throws the kick towards the body but Herbert avoids it. Spatchcock bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Spatchcock throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Herbert avoids the head kick by Spatchcock.

Herbert scores with a decent looking hook. Herbert bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Spatchcock tries to get back to half guard but can't. Check out the look on Herbert's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Spatchcock gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Herbert pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Spatchcock is rocked! Herbert loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Spatchcock scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Herbert land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Herbert stands and salutes the crowd.
