Van Buren throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kennedy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Good work by Porilainen as he checks the leg kick.

Porilainen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kopstoot.
Kopstoot does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Porilainen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kopstoot's waist but Kopstoot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Porilainen off to one side.
Porilainen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Porilainen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kopstoot swivels and escapes.
Porilainen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kopstoot's waist but Kopstoot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Porilainen off to one side.
Dave Kopstoot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erno Porilainen.
A combination from Kopstoot does no damage.
Kopstoot lands with a big left! Porilainen is wobbled badly! Kopstoot comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Porilainen to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jean Malboro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rollin by: Limp Bizkit kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jean Malboro had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Eric Freeman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jean Malboro's chin.

Davis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Urpo is fending him off so far but Davis persists. Nope, Urpo circles away and we're back to standing.
Urpo cracks Davis with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
