The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Tank as Guti shoots in. LA Guti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guti shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tank as he avoids it easily. Tank lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like LA Guti has been cut. Tank throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Guti colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Tank as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Guti is left battered and dazed whilst Tank and his camp cheer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Forio will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jon Forio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jazz misses with a jab, cross combination.

Araujo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Rourke shoots for a double leg takedown but Araujo sprawls well. He's pushed Rourke's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Rourke throws a right and a left that both miss. Rourke looks to score with a jab to the body but Araujo is just out of range. Araujo lands with a slapping head kick. Rourke throws a head kick that misses and Araujo counters with a nice body kick.

Araujo is fending him off so far but Rourke persists. Nope, Araujo circles away and we're back to standing. Araujo feints and then cracks Rourke's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rourke down. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Rourke. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Rourke closes the distance and clinches up with Araujo, looking for a takedown. Rourke pushes Araujo against the cage but Araujo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lowhanger connects with a single shot there. Dragunov wants to clinch up but Lowhanger keeps it at a distance. Dragunov closes the distance and clinches. Lowhanger breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Dragunov tries for a takedown but Lowhanger sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Dragunov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Dragunov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lowhanger bucks Dragunov off and manages to get back to his feet! Dragunov has a takedown stuffed. Lowhanger bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Dragunov is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dragunov shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dragunov showed some decent athleticism there. Lowhanger won't allow Dragunov to pass to mount.

Lowhanger tries to get to full guard but Dragunov has control of the leg. Lowhanger is trying to maintain the position but Dragunov is very close to passing his half guard. Lowhanger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dragunov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dragunov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Lowhanger throws a left that rocks Dragunov and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Lowhanger dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Dragunov regain composure!

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lowhanger's head. Dragunov seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dragunov is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Lowhanger has managed to free his arm - good work. Dragunov is looking to pass Lowhanger's guard but actually Lowhanger recovers to full guard. Dragunov trying to control the position from guard on top but Lowhanger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lowhanger looking to control.
Lowhanger has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Dragunov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lowhanger manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dragunov has Lowhanger in his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dragunov has his foot on Lowhanger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lowhanger works his way back into a safe position though. Dragunov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Versace can pounce on him.
Diaz shoots for a takedown but Versace saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Versace catches Diaz napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Diaz to the canvas!
