Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carl Walther (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barney Rumble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walther kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Judith by A Perfect Circle. This should be a great matchup!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Barney Rumble! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rumble closes this distance looking for a takedown but Walther circles away. Rumble changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Walther looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Walther tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rumble wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Walther is not content to let Rumble control the position. Walther is trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walther takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Walther isn't going anywhere. Rumble tries to move to mount but Walther blocks the move with his legs. Rumble controlling from side mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walther stops Rumble from passing to mount. Rumble is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Walther has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rumble is looking to take a break and control but Walther is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Walther wants to control but Rumble postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Walther keeping his opponent close. Rumble has hold of Walther's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Walther seems comfortable defending it but Rumble has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Walther is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Walther is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Rumble couldn't care less - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richards will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vatali shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Vatali was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Richards really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Vatali looking to ground and pound but Richards is blocking nicely. Vatali punching from mount but Richards doing a good job of avoiding damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Vatali with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Vatali thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Vatali is working for a guillotine from mount but Richards frees his head quite easily.

Vatali is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Richards is surviving well by controlling Vatali's body position as best he can. Richards is in a horrible position here. Vatali smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Vatali landing shots from mount. Vatali looking to ground and pound but Richards is blocking nicely. Vatali scoring with strikes but Richards is staying in there. Vatali jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Richards manages to avoid the submission attempt. Richards on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Vatali thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Vatali wants to control but Richards is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vatali swings around for an armbar but Richards sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Vatali's guard. Richards trying to control the position from guard on top but Vatali is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Richards preventing the sweep. Richards stands and steps away. Vatali gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Richards swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vatali fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Vatali shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Vatali misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Vatali. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vatali fails to land the takedown. Vatali is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Richards cracks a nice hook into Vatali's ribs. Richards throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vatali stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Vatali closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vatali lands in his opponent's guard. Vatali stops Richards from standing up. Vatali postures up in Richards's guard and throws a big left but Richards blocks it. Vatali stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Richards swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Vatali dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Richards is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Vatali throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Richards is breathing heavily. Vatali postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Richards is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Vatali, into his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Vatali is pressing down on Richards's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Richards preventing the sweep. Vatali is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vatali bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Richards's guard. Vatali stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Richards swivels though and keeps the full guard. Richards working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Vatali. Vatali lands a couple of elbows. Vatali pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Richards is keeping the position for now. Vatali sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Richards's guard. Vatali works his way into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vatali trying to control but he's not successful this time. Richards manages to regain half guard. Good work. Richards is trying to maintain the position but Vatali is very close to passing his half guard. Vatali has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Richards tries to roll over but Vatali keeps him under control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Vatali thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Vatali dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Vatali moves into range and clinches up with Richards. Vatali misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Richards lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Richards.
It looks like Joe Vatali has been cut. Joe Vatali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vatali fails in his attempt to clinch. Vatali fails with the takedown. Richards throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Vatali on the side of the head.

Vatali is looking wobbly and Richards recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Vatali to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Richards jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barrillo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Barrillo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. The Ghost Rider stacks Barrillo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by The Ghost Rider! The Ghost Rider trying to control the position but Barrillo is working away. Barrillo is looking for a sweep. Barrillo manages to work his way to half guard, despite The Ghost Rider's best efforts. Barrillo actively working from the bottom here. Barrillo tries to get to full guard but The Ghost Rider has control of the leg. Barrillo gets full guard. Barrillo looking for a guillotine here but The Ghost Rider defends easily.
Barrillo has his foot on The Ghost Rider's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Ghost Rider works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barrillo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but The Ghost Rider frees his head nicely. Oh but Barrillo has switched to an armbar! The Ghost Rider is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Well, with Schwarzeneggar on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Mir is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Schwarzeneggar controlling the position well here. Mir rolled but Schwarzeneggar kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Mir doesn't succeed with the takedown and Schwarzeneggar counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mir won't be happy with that. Schwarzeneggar moves into full mount! Schwarzeneggar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Mir is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Schwarzeneggar controlling his opponent. Mir looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Schwarzeneggar has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Mir's body.

Good control from Schwarzeneggar. Schwarzeneggar is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Mir with him. Mir is trying to defend but Schwarzeneggar has an arm under the chin now! Mir grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Watson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Knight backwards. A short uppercut from Watson. Watson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Watson is trying to break free. Knight tries a body shot but Watson blocks it.

Knight misses with an elbow over the top. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Knight creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Watson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Knight thows a left - swing and a miss! Watson lands with a right that hurts Knight. Knight looks to clinch but Watson throws a short knee that drops Knight. This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rosenthal looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Fedor avoids a low kick by using good footwork. The fighters circling - Rosenthal throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rosenthal throws a series of punches but Fedor moves out of range. Fedor takes a jab right on the kisser.
Fedor bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Fedor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rosenthal is fending him off so far but Fedor persists. Nope, Rosenthal circles away and we're back to standing. Rosenthal throws a leg kick but Fedor sees it coming and checks it nicely. Danga de danga de dang - Rosenthal scores with a four punch combination! Rosenthal rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fedor moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rosenthal waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Fedor. Fedor shoots in but no luck this time. Rosenthal takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Rosenthal throws a solid leg kick but Fedor takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rosenthal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fedor shoots for a double leg takedown but Rosenthal sprawls well. He's pushed Fedor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Holden Rosenthal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darth Fedor. Fedor throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Horrible takedown by Fedor or perhaps it was just good defense by Rosenthal which made him look bad. Fedor throws a big shot that misses. Rosenthal throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Rosenthal escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rosenthal throws a body punch but Fedor moves out of range. Rosenthal shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Rosenthal throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Rosenthal throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rosenthal connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Fedor showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rosenthal.
Fedor wants to clinch. Rosenthal throws a head kick but Fedor moves out of range.
Rosenthal takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fedor checks a low kick from Rosenthal. Fedor fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rosenthal throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fedor needs to keep his hands up - Rosenthal had a free shot at his head there. Rosenthal misses with a straight left. Fedor gets the takedown into side control. Rosenthal struggling a bit here. Fedor goes for an armbar! This could be all over!
